I don't think my parents would think anyone was good enough for me. But my dad still mentions the doctor I was dating in college!

Yes!! Dad was the one who encouraged me to date DH when we were 'just friends'!!!

My parents love DH. I know they wish he had a better job so we weren't struggling with money so much while i'm in school..especially my mom.

He was such a wonderful contrast from my last serious bf that they were thrilled!

Neither set of parents is thrilled about te interfaith thing, but my mom treats Fh like her own son

it took forever for my parents to even get to know DH. Since he was my HS boyfriend, he is the one that I got caught sneaking around with, went partying with..etc. My parents were eager for us to break up. But fate would have, we moved in with them to save for our house and now they get along fine.

they like him, i think they beleive no one is good enough for their daughter and that they dont like that i am more 'well off' than him however they gave him approval to marry me so they must approve somewhat!

I often think my parents love my husband more than me sometimes They ask how HE is before they ask about me most days

He truly is THE BEST person I ever dated, and were soo thrilled when we were engaged.. you don't know how many times my dear mother would say 'I HOPE you don't blow this one' .. they were afraid to lose him!!

But seriously, I think they respect and adore him because he treats me so well and I've never been happier

And oh yeah, he's pretty darned loveable

I think it took them awhile to warm up to him but now they love him.

My father doesn't think anyone is good for his daughter...like anyone's father.

I know that he likes him and my mother treats him like her own son. You should see the pile of presents that she buys for him at Christmas.
