I would say if they were invited to the shower, they should be invited to the wedding.

Sorry...I know you weren't hoping to hear that.

I think since they were invited to your shower they should be invited to the wedding. Don't forget not everyone invited will come to the wedding.

Jeanine, yea if they were at the shower they need to be invited to the wedding....but there's always hope. We invited almost 240 people & our latest count is 125!!!!!! (although we had a lot of OOT peeps)

If they were invited to the shower then they should be invited to the wedding.

Also if your list is at 234 you have to remember you will probably have 40-50 no's so then you would be in your range.

I agree, since they were invited to the shower, they should be invited to the wedding. I also have to say not to be discouraged though. We ended up with 498 people on our guest list. We thought we were going to end up with about 375 and in the end we had 279

Honestly, I think you should do whatever feels right to you and whatever will make you happy. I'm sure you can find a nice way to uninvite them -I called people and told them that I just didn't have the space when really I just didn't want them at my wedding. They may get upset but you know what - my day will go on and I'll probably be happier without them in the room.

Etiquette may dictate one thing but ultimately you have the final say. Your day, your way!

We invited 250people and ended up with about 200, so just rememebr there will be some no's so don't cut it too close or you may not make your minimum.

I'm in the same boat. we started with 180 invited (engagement party) and the list is now up to about 260! And there are more people being added.

My Min is 150 and I can reasonably afford 150-185 guest or so. Here's hoping for a 50% yes response!

ETA: And yes, unfortunately everyone invited to the engagement party and bridal shower have to be invited to the wedding.
