Re: Aruba
we went to aruba last march.
we stayed at the radisson and we LOVED it. We did not choose the all inclusive option because there are so many different food options. the Radisson is right across the street from an entire stip of restaurants and it is in the middle of the resorts.
the pool area and the pool bar/grill were awesome!
we did do brunch easter morning at the hyatt and it was fantastic! the hyatt was beautiful. we also spent time at the riu and it was also very nice but we didnt eat there.
definetly go into town and go to senor frogs!!! we had such a great time there. drive to the other side of the island (its only 19 miles long!!) and go to the flying fishbone restaurant for a romantic sunset dinner. our table was on the sand and our feet were in the water!
im going to try and post some pics.....obviously we loved it!

Re: Aruba
Def don't do all inclusive there are amazing restaurants all over the island and you don't want to or need to be stuck eating at your hotel only.
Go to El Gaucho and def do the Ku Ku Kanuku party bus! You will love it! It was the best vaca FH and I EVER TOOK! :)))

I totally did All inclusive & fo rteh drinks at the pool bar alone & at the lounge it was worth it notto mention breakfast & lunch. Dinner FH & I didnt mind spending teh extra to go out because they have some great restaurants. El Gaucho's Texas de Brazil Driftwood amazing. Madame Jeanettes isnt as good as everyone says teh ambiance is nice though. I also stayed at Occidental & loved it. The service & people were so nice & helpful. Really i recommend it highly. The hotel was beautiful. We did the submarine tour the Jeep tour (half day is enough) & the Kuku Kanuku. Great time

We stayed at the Hyatt and it was awesome. The hotel is beautiful and the service is great. The only thing is that it was a little pricey. $10/drink adds up really quickly if you like to drink.
There are so many great restaurants in Aruba you really don't need to do all inclusive.
We had a great time. Pics in album.

Martha, i went to aruba last march it was amazing, we stayed at the marriot, but we walked over to the riu because i thought it was beautiful. and it was!!!
There are alot of great restaurants, you could try,
Madame jeanettes was great,
Flying fish bone, check what time the sun sets when you are going it makes for an amazing back drop you eat right on the water.
texas de brazil i did not care for! it was alot of food and not that great! also try chef's table, chalet swiss, and iquana joes (the best ribs ever!!)
Also if you do any trips go to the natural pool and bride, just dont horseback ride there its way to hot!! rent quads and definately go to baby beach ( has the best snorkling))) better than any tour!!
HTH if you need any other info FM me ! have a great time!!

Re: Aruba
We just booked the Hyatt last week. It's not all-inclusive but we were advised not to do it because of all the amazing places to eat!

We went to Aruba about 5 years ago and it was fantastic! We stayed at Casa Del Mar, I highly recommend it! It is right on the beach and close to a few good restaurants! The food there is out of this world! I know that the Rennaissance Hotel has its own private island. It also has a mini mall, a gondola ride, and a lot of shows are performed there. It is also close to the open air market.

Re: Aruba
thanks ladies...the only reason we want to do all inclusive is because we have never been on a real vacation together and i just feel like it would be so much easier that way...dont get me wrong we're willing to spend the money to go out a few times
