Aruba HM

FH and I think we want to go to Aruba, any suggestions? Anyone HM there?

I didn't HM there but I stayed at the Hyatt for a week a few years ago & it was beautifuuuul! Sorry I'm not much help.

we stayed at the occidental... It was Allegra back then but awesome.. I know people who have stayed there more recently and they loved it... we might go back for our HM

Thanks! I just looked at that sight this morning, it looked great! Did you stay at the concerge level? If you did, did it make a differnce?

no i don't think they had it back then.... The secretary at school went there last summer and she loved it!!!! I really don't know what is included in the concierge pkg but i vaguely remember a bride on here saying it was great but not necessary... Maybe u can do a search for the post.. Sorry....

We are going to Riu Palace in November for our 1 year anniversary. Can't wait!!! Hope you have fun on your HM!!

We went to the Occidental in Aruba for our HM. We had an amazing time. We sprung for the huge jacuzzi suite (with the jacuzzi leading to the patio). We loved our room but a lot of the couples we met who didn't go with the suite didn't like their accommodations as much. Next time we go back we'll definitely try one of the low rise hotels. Have fun!
