As promised DASHING DIVA review

Hello ladies,
So I went to Dashing Diva last night for fake nails and I really enjoyed it!!!!
The place is more like a spa then a nail salon, all pink and pretty, however I wouldn't go there for regular mani pedi's unless u can afford it! Their prices for mani's are $15 which is not that pad but if u want a meni pedi that’s $45 which is outrageous in my opinion. However, this is no regular meni pedi they do a whole massage thing and bring you tea and it takes longer. They're very attentive and make u feel spoiled!
I would say it's a great place to go with ur girlfriends to relax but not by ourselves cuz u can have a very similar result at a regular Chinese nail salon. It's also a great place to give a gift card to!
As for the fake nails, they have this patent called virtual nails, which are clear and go over the whole nail and not just tips that they later sand into your natural nails. They come off n up to two weeks and are supposedly not damaging ur nails, this runs for $35 which is very reasonable and if u want French it's $5 extra!
This is what I had done last night to try out before the day off! I'm very happy with the results although I painted them a very light shade of pink and I would suggest going a bit darker. On the day off I'll have French with maybe a thin silver line underneath.
Hope this mini review helped

Wow the virtual nails thing sounds pretty cool. I love nails and all but I dont wear fake anymore because I sometimes think they dont look real (if that makes any sense at all ) lol

For my shower, i popped on those fake nails you buy at cvs... no joke, they are still on and look as great as they did a week ago... and they only cost me $5 they are perfect and i think they actually look more real that acrylic bc they have just the right thickness to em... you just have to get the knack for putting them on... ive used em in the past so i have the process down and can apply em perfectly in like 5-10 mins

Yup I have the same feeling; they somehow look bigger than real nail, especially on the sides... But there's just no way will I be able to grow mine out and I do want nice looking nails and these r better than tips and cheaper than any other alternative

Thanks for the review!

I went to classy nails on Union St last night to get my 2nd ever manicure ($7, which I love) and my nails are starting to grow, which is great. (I'm a life-time biter who's trying her best to reform.)

Dashing Diva sounds like a fun place to go to treat yourself! I'm glad you're pleased with the results!
