My sister and I had a FULL spa day, back in June. It was at Elizabeth Arden on Fifth Avenue. Well we were a little disapointed at a few things, that made it 'Not so Fifth Avenue' especially since our hubbies paid 'Fifth Avenue' prices.
I'll make em brief: *Noisy waiting areas, what kind of 'relaxing' atmosphere is that ?? You had to 'Wait' to be called for each thing (manicure, facial, massage, etc). *Our massages started late & ended early! (10-15 shorted us!) *The manicure people were ALL unorganized, telling me to 'wait right there' and then coming back 10min later and saying 'oh check in at the front desk' *Keeping us waiting WAY past our appt times.
So we POLITELY told this really nice Customer Service Mgr of our little disappointments.
WEll, we were offered another FULL spa day !
I requested the Huntington Village location, so I dont have to shlep back into the city.
See, it pays to speak up sometimes !!!!!

Thats awesome! Too bad more places arent so accomdating.
I dont know about the LI one but the Elizabeth Arden in CT (near Mohegan Sun) is great.

Youd be surprised at what companies will do to keep a customer (well Im sure there are just as many who will just close the door in your face and not care about keeping a customer )

Anna, most companies could care less if you are upset. Its nice to know there are still companies who care about the customer.

Good for you!! My old boss gave me a full day spa certificate every year for secretaries day. The first year I went to 5th Ave location but at the Huntington location, the services are cheaper and you can apply the dollar amount to whatever services you want. I did a series of facials instead of the massage, haircut etc.
I miss that job sometimes....I like gifts like that!
