asking a questoin you may not want to answr

so im so confused but let me preface this by I in no wa y mmean to start drama or offend anyone.

Because of this, if you would rather FM the answer that is fine....

Can you give me a total of what you and FH make $$ wise? I dont need to know who makes what, but the total yearly income....

Im stressing about money and how we will live and i need a comparison

I'll answer

We make combined, $115k per year, before taxes.

If he worked every day m-f 7-3 he would make about 70 or 72 a year... and I make 43 a year... he works in the laborers union and its not always steady work... hes been off every friday in august and now september because there isnt enough work... he's trying to get on the WTC site cause its 6 or 7 days a week with great ot... a chance to make some real cash and no time to spend it...

It varies because of my bonuses and he is in construction -- so some months are busier than others. But average I think around $190k combined.

Combined, before taxes-it's approx 92k. He also gets a crazy good bonus at x-mas, so I'm counting on that $$ too...

I think like 90ish before taxes and no bonuses. w/bonuses it jumps to 120ish. hoping this year much more in bonus money, but who knows...

Unf you just kinda confirmed my fear. I always assume you would like 125k combined, to be steady, like not pull your hair out frugal and not crazy extravegent

we are not there nor are we near it and im freaking out. How can we afford wedding and house?

dont worry, it all works out in the end, if u are smart w/ur money.
I try to put away each month anywhere between 500-1K, and it really grows. we try just to pay our bills and food and nothing else too much (maybe xpt a nice dinner once in a rare while). altho this sounds boring we do think of what we are gonna get in the future while sacrificing right now.
