asking bridesmaids

any creative ways, maybe a card with a poem or something, to ask your friends/family to be your bridesmaids????? I want it to be special because i am the first one of us getting married

I was so unoriginal... I just asked the girls... didn't do anything special.. maybe I will send them all a card or poem once we look at dresses and just thank them for wanting to be apart of my sepecial day...
