Asking the bridal party
So this weekend my FH and I began asking my bridal party! We have 10 guys and 9 girls
I made the guy beer labels and put them in my album because I love how they came! I printed them myself and bought the labels in Staples so easy!!
For the girls my amazing MOH helped me bake fortune cookies that we placed fortunes in each with a quote and the girls names and the lucky numbers with 7 .18. 14 for our wedding date on the back. I will put pictures up of them soon.
Have you guys asked your party yet??

Asking the bridal party
not yet. we have 5 guys and 5 girls. they all pretty much already know they're in the wedding party (just based on common sense lol) but we want to 'officially' ask them during our engagement dinner :)

Asking the bridal party
We asked our bridal party in the beginning of September about a month after we booked our venue. I made little gift buckets for my girls made a personalized card in our wedding colors and framed it, a personal size bottle of wine, a pack of microwaveable popcorn, a bridesmade cookie in our wedding colors, and put it all in a popcorn bucket I got a the dollar store. Wrapped it in celophane in one of our wedding colors and tied with a ribbon in our other wedding color and attached personal gift tags i made. We are doing a movie theme wedding cause we were both media majors and he is in a film productions group. Our first date was the movies and we talked for ours before and after that date about movies so it just suited us that we went with that them. So incorporated that into my way of asking them. They are still talking about it. They came out really great.

Asking the bridal party
We do not have a venue yet but we did ask our bridal party. For my MOH (my sister) I mailed her (she is away at college) a Maid Of Honor tote bag with a Maid of Honor koozie, A nail file with Essie Made to Honor nail polish, a bridesmaid handbook, and the Maid of Honor DVD,a ring pop, along with a tiny bow necklace I got from Etsy to represent tying the knot :)
For my Bridemaids and Junior Bridemaids I got them the small bow necklace, a ring pop and a nail file along with an Essie nail polish that corresponded with the wedding (ex. Sole Mate, Bachelorette Bash, Happily Ever After, Tying the knot, Borrowed & Blue, True Love, Blushing Bride)
I also enclosed a card to the bridemaids & MOH
For the Groomsmen we gave each guy a card with a Cigar attached (for the younger guys it was a godiva cigar)
For our flowergirls they each got a book about being a flowergirl and the 2 year old got a wedding Ariel & Prince Eric while the 7 month old got a little snack cup in the shape of a flower.
I have pictures in my album :)
Love the beer labels by the way!

Asking the bridal party
Idk if this will work, but I just ordered these to ask my bridesmaids.. Even though wedding won't be for over a year and a half from now they basically know so I'm sure they are waiting for me to formally ask..https://www.etsy.com/transaction/110641576

Asking the bridal party
I LOVE all of these ideas!!! Just wondering though, how soon after getting engaged did you ask people to be in your bridal party? I got engaged a few days before Christmas, so I already asked my two sisters, BILs, and niece and nephew to be in our bridal party because we were all together on Christmas :) We still need to ask a few more people though, and I'm just wondering if its too soon to just do it now? We have yet to talk to our church or set a date, but I'm just bursting at the seams to ask everyone else now! Any advice?

Asking the bridal party
i wanted to ask before my engagement party because i want to do the 'meet the maids' 'meet the men'- i know some people say to wait but, our bridal party is large and all family/friends we have been close to for years! I dont think there are rules but, i am sure opinions vary.Congrats BTW!! Enjoy it

Asking the bridal party
We asked our bridal party almost immediately. It was probably within the week following our engagement. I asked my bridesmaids with personalized cookies that had the most adorable quote on them.

Asking the bridal party
We did! Once we got home from Alaska (where we got engaged) I went right on Etsy to find cards asking my girls to be my bridesmaids. I got my sister a Kate Spade 'Best Friends' bracelet to ask her. I mailed my bridesmaids the cute cards. After them accepting I got them their bended wire hangers for their dresses!
