Has anyone gotten any quotes for a Saturday night there? I know friday runs about $85.... but I was wondering if there was a major difference in price for Saturday.

I went there about a year ago and they gave me a price of $95++ for a sat. night but I don't know what it went up to.

When I went to look it was about 90/95 a head basic and when we were done adding stuff I think it was going to be about 100 or so.

The place was beautiful and I went to school for dolphin human therapy and LOVE FISH!!! Plus growing up on the water and all I thought it was perfect but when I got there I felt it was kind of cool in there and dark. I would have a party there but I don't know about a wedding- I'm sure it would be beautiful but I think my grandma wouldnt' have had a great time.

just asking about the room....yes, you can be in the aquarium, but the room you are in doesnt have any view of seals, sharks etc...
the room i saw wasn't a room with it...

I'm getting married there on september 10,2004!! My fiance and I wanted something totally different than a regular catering hall that everyone has been to numerous times!! Since we both met at the beach we thought this would be something totally different and perfect for us!! I can't wait yes they have live animals, sting rays u can touch etc. sharks, topical fish, turtles etc. I'm doing it on a friday night and i'm doing a buffet so everyone can come and go through the aquarium and not worry that there meal just got taken away cause they were not sitting down!! I got a great price and they are so nice there!! I can't wait if anyone needs more information please FM me!! The WHOLE aquarium is shut down to your whole wedding!! You get to go everywhere!! They set up the tables in the section around the shark tank in that room and the room with the whale on the wall is were the dj will be and also the ceremony! The cocktail will be in and out the back!!

I think its an AWESOME idea to get married there. My only concern would be smell...I have only been there once but you dont want the room your guests will be dancing and eating in to smell poorly.
I will say if it wasnt so far from us I would have considered if as a wedding location! GOod Luck

There isn't a smell in there and i course before the wedding they clean like crazy!! I aquarium shuts down at 5pm and my ceremony starts at 6:30 until midnight!!!

i went to a wedding there in may. it was really different and really fun. the only thing was that the tables are separated. we were all the way upstairs and @ the end. we felt kind of seperated from the rest of the wedding but we were right by the huge turtle tank so we kept busy. we walked around and saw everything, it was really cool. be aware that the dance floor is soooooooooo small and there is no room. but that is really not the main attraction (dancing) when you are @ an aquarium! LOL It's not my taste, but it was definetely fitting for my friend's--it was cool and most certainly different so if you want to do it-go for it and don't listen to what others may say!

I don't have quotes, but I think the it is such a cool idea. I wanted to have my wedding there but my finace said NO WAY! It may not have the best dance floor or whatever but it is definately something your guests will remember because it will be different from any other wedding they have been to!

endlessluv429- Where did the bride and groom and there party sit?? I still considering putting the whole bridal party upstairs since we are never going to sit anyway?? Or we might be right between the two room?? Not sure would love to hear your input!! Thanks

Im a bit confused. Can you guys explain the seating arrangement. I dont want all my guests seperated. Im only having between 100-125 people. We cant all fit in one area? What about linens? Do they provide different colors?

Yes they supple the linens and your choice or color!! U can have your seating arrangments anyway u want!! We are having 150 people! they put the table for the reception in the room where the shark tank is not in the walk way were u can see the tank out in the open around the outside of the tank and up top were u can look down below!! I hope that helps u! If ur considering having your wedding there FM and i wll give u who to talk too!!
They are also planning on building a hotel attached to the aquarium and i think they are starting in 2005 so that could be pretty cool!
