Atlantis Sea Star Ballroom

Hi ladies,

It's me again (LOL) I am looking for feedback on anyone that toured or has had their wedding at the Atlantis Aquarium in the last 2 years.

Expensive? Pros? Cons? Are there all inclusive packages? I am taking a tour of the place in February. I haven't been to that aquarium in at least 3 years probably 4...

Looking for any tips and hints. My brother had looked there back in 2007 but they didn't have the ballroom and they wanted a lot just for the inside of the aquarium.

Hey - I looked there just for myself, and if Im remembering correctly, the price for the aquarium or the ballroom was the same. I'll look it up for you when I get home.

Personally, I think that the ballroom itself isn't much different than other catering halls. It's really nice, but if we ere going to get married at an aquarium, we wanted to make it worth it and have it in the place itself. At the end, we chose not to do it there because it was a bit out of our price range, but the people were very nice. Make sure you have a good chunk of time free that day, because they'll give you free admission to the aquarium itself too and you can walk around after, which is great.

Hey! When we got engaged the one place my fiancé wanted to look at was the aquarium. To me the ballroom was very similar to more local (western nassau) locations, and I couldn't see spending the money to make guests drive all the way to riverhead for what we could have closer to home.

If I was getting married there we would have wanted to have it in the aquarium itself, but the minimum for a Saturday was 150 and we weren't planning on having that many. You have FM on the price though!

Thanks for the response! I just have to go and see it because the pictures of the ballroom look so beautiful. He told me the tour takes about 1.5/2 hrs so I assumed we would get into the aquarium for free - glad to know we do!

i am having my reception at the aquarium. what we ended up doing is having the cocktail hour in the actual aquarium and then we are doing the reception in the ballroom. I love the view of the ballroom and doing the cocktail hour in the actual aquarium is worth it. :) good luck in your search! let me know if you need anything

We booked 11/5/2016 for the aquarium/ballroom! We are doing the same thing, cocktail hour in the aquarium and reception in the ballroom. We felt like it was the best of both worlds! Congrats!
