Who attended their cocktail hour after the cermony?
after seeing pics of past cocktail hours i want to go,,,but will it look weird mingling with everyone and then later that night you have to make your 'grand entrance' ?

I'm not married yet, but we plan to enter the last half hour. We want to mingle and get the greetings out of the way ASAP

We're taking all pics beforehand so we'll be at the entire cocktail hour. I'm not missing a minute of my wedding!

all the best food is at the cocktail hour. we want to go lol plus... we LOOOVE the room our CH is in so we don't want to miss it.
We actually plan on being total doofs and getting those glasses with the fake nose and mustache to wear during the CH.

thats soo cute ...... i know i was looking at the menu and EVERYTHING sounds soooo yummy i cant imagine missing it ....

We Will NOT be attending our CH. I have a huge bridal suite w/ a tv that shows the cocktail hour room. I want to enjoy my food and just relax and I want a HUGE grand entrance plus all the same food will be brought to us in the bridal suite so its not like we will miss the food

oh yea, we will have a nice suite with food and everything too... i just want to enjoy the atmosphere. the CH is always my fave part of the wedding...
well... untill i have a few drinks anyway.

I was just talking to FH about this. I am planning on attending my CH, I dont want to miss a thing and I feel that the CH is the best part plus I want to make sure I get everything I ordered, lol

We have time after the church to take pics and then FH & I will spend a little time in the Bridal Suite during the cocktail hr. We absolutely want to be there for cocktail though...

We attended our cocktail hour... the second half of it (the first half was spent finishing pictures, eating in the bridal suite, and getting my dress bustled... I would have loved to have been at the CH for the entire thing) I'm so glad we went!!!!! We got a chance to say hello to lots of people and see them enjoying the CH. I wouldn't have wanted to miss it.

i just went to a wedding, and hte bride and groom went to teh cocktail hour, it was the best thing they did, i think they had an hour and a half, they attended the last hour, and literally went around to each and every table to greet the guests...then danced the entire nite away...
Another bonus, was that when u walked in, u took your seating card and sat in ur seat for hte night, they set up all the cocktail hour food on the dance floor so it was really easy for the bride and groom to get around to see everyone cause everyone was pretty much sitting eating the CH food
Im going to mine to get the greetings out of the way!
