Went there, took pics, dont have them yet. K, here is the deal, how it is different. When you walk in the whole West side is the same, the windows, with the windowed ceiling, the stairs are right there, all the same. Ok so the dance floor on the west side is the same, with the stairs and the gold railings. The removed the chandaliers, so now there are something like 3 lard dome shaped lamps, swirly ivory looking I think. All the pillars that were once gold are now Mahogony wood.
One the east side there is a new wall, and the widows are really high up framed by mahogony wood. The the is that you can't really see the windows from the area that you would be sitting as bride and groom because of them being so high up. Also, if you are having a smaller wedding, about 100 like me, they are sectioning that off!!! Oh and that is the section that has skylighting in the shape of a 3D triangle. Anyway, I was upset about this because we picked the room for the whole sunshine effect. And I hate the drappery they use for secitoning off, some green color. Anyway, I just really hope it is reallly sunny so I can get the sun from the West side where all of our windows will be.

I seen the pictures, the room is very elegant, I love it but I thought they were going to do more.

Anyway, my list keeps going up, I hope it fits more than my guarantee, 120, I think my list is up to 200. Scary!!!!! Oh no. Its going to be like a sausage factory. LOL

What am i going to do? I guess i have to cut.

yeah it all depends on who you are inviting. My friends parent had a problem where everyone was saying yes, and they had a maximum of 250 for the room. In the end they had exactly 250 people.

On the other end my friends invited 300 people and because it was far away and there was a wedding the next weekend in the family that ws not far away, only 169 people came and she had to pay for 200!

I have Mitch as a BM so far he is ok. My wedding is in less than 4 months and he said he doesn't really need anything from me until about two months before to go over the menu and seating

I guess its a toss up. Alot of mine is friends and co-workers too. and each time my FH makes a new friend, he's invited. LOL

Which one is the plaza room? the one with the icicle-like chandelier or the darker room with the frosted lights?

Emerald Room Ladies,

I heard through the grapevine that there was a wedding there last Saturday. Well, apparently some of the tiles (like 4 ) got loose or something or fell down. I was told that the room looks very nice and it is larger! In fact I was told the room is beautiful. I think the wedding last Saturday was the first one in the room. I'm going up there tomorrow so I'm going to tell my BM what I heard and get all the details for everyone okay? I'm not worried about this, because my wedding is not until July, but even if it was this Saturday hopefully they would have fixed this problem.

WOW...i hope noone got hurt! I guess it is to be expected after construction but it ***** that it was during a party
