It is a minimum of 10 - 12 people per table.

i was told they could do 8 if you really want it.... they prefer to use the circular tables but they also have some retangular ones if you want to fit 12 people at a table

liek if you want all your friends or co-workers to sit together

see that is what I thought it was. 12 was a diff table. But my sheet says min of 10 -12. I am going to have to call them.

i guess i dont see how they can tell you how many per table.... i want to arrange my seating by people who belong together....not just throwing guests at a table cause i need to fill it in with 12 ya know?

Actually I was told 10 per table and that they were oval.

I haven't heard anything as far as the Plaza room is concerned.

By the way, my BM told me the same thing. I wouldn't hear from her until 2 months prior to the wedding so that we can go over details (menus, etc.).

Please pass on anymore helpful info.!

anti-bride, I feel the same way. We dont have a perfect set. It is going to be difficult for me.

Went to CHCC yesterday and I asked Mitch (he was wonderful by the way). I asked him about the loose ceiling tile and he said he didn't hear anything about that. I don't know my source is pretty reliable and I don't think this person would lie, so maybe Mitch just didn't know?


CHCC Emerald room looks very nice but I missed the stone wall in the back. It's funny I was telling Mitch that and he was like 'Eh, it was fake, now we have real stone' and when I told Leo that I missed it he sort of said the same thing. What's funny is when I booked the room (so long ago) the stone wall was what Leo really talked about. I really do miss that stone wall.

The room looks nice though but doesn't really have the same feel for me as before. They are still making some renvovations (they want to put an elevator in and remove the ramp, and they want to add set of steps at the front).


I will post pictures later.

Oh the tables are 66' for 10 people and 72' inches for 12 people. He didn't tell me anything about 8 people tables.

Don't worry. I don't think you will be able to see anything. They look like they are doing it one step at a time. So if anything, they will might do the steps and have that finished, but they would not work on the elevator. They still had black bags or something taped to the outside of the window to cover the scaffolding, and I didn't even notice the bags until Mitch pointed out. Is your wedding in the evening?

No it is during the day and I really want the windows done, so if there a black bags.....

Plus, if they take the ramp out there will be issues because we have someone in a wheel chair.

The room is done, but there is still bags or something blocking the window in order to cover the view of the scaffolding on the side of the room where they removed the stone wall. That is what Mitch told me. I didn't even notice it until Mitch pointed it out.

I'm telling you exactly what Mitch told me. He said that they still have plans to add an elevator and add steps. If they add the elevator, then you don't need the ramp. He said that he doesn't know when those changes will be made, but he figured if it is done that it will be done within the next two months. I think they are making these changes a little at a time so there is not going to be construction going on in your room. The only thing I can suggest is for you to go see the room or call and ask for Mitch. I'm not trying to cause you to worry, but I was told that these are some further additions that they are planning (or thinking about ) making. That's why Mitch said he can't guarantee that the changes will be done in the next two months.

Hi guys i am getting married on October 9, 2005 in the Emerald room. I saw the room after the renovation it was beautiful. I cant wait but I do have a lot of questions so I will post them later
