ever carved a 'Funkin'? (fake pumpkin -- made of foam)

I bought one and wanted to incorporate it on one of our tables at the wedding but I'm not sure what I should carve it with.

Anyone have any experience with them?

hmm...never have had the pleasure...but if it's compressed foam, kind of like a Nerf ball...i would try starting out with an exacto knife or box cutter type blade...HTH!! And can't wait to see your freakin' funkin!!!!
