I called the Carlyle today to ask a couple of questions, and they had me set up my final menu tasting meeting for April 2nd. They said they are trying to get all of their summer and early fall brides in before the Open in June. I don't know if they were planning on calling me soon, but it is usually done during the week. Since I live upstate, I had to set it up during my Easter break. I just thought you all would want a 'heads up' for your own schedules. Also, they need your $5,000 deposit at this time. Keep me posted if you hear any more info!

You may want to call just in case. The Open is over in June, but they said w/ the rush of all of the summer weddings and schedules, they wanted to get summer and early fall brides in. Let me know how it goes. Did you decide on any vendors? Continued success to all...

We've booked a bunch of things already! Band-Steven Scott (Anthony Mills Band) Photographer-Joanne Orshan Videographer-Jeffrey Studios Dress-Bridal Reflections The florist is the only big thing left, which I was putting off till I decided on my bridesmaids' colors for sure (which I did a couple of weeks ago). Guess I should get moving on that one! I will check with the Carlyle whether they want to see me now, or if they can wait a while. How is your planning going?

Planning is done, now I'm working on the details! That is where all the stress is-I never imagined how hard it is to come up w/ 150+ addresses and correct spelling of names!I'm almost at the 4 month mark, and I couldn't be happier:)The extra stress for me comes in w/ trying to find a teaching job and moving down to the island in July. What color did you decide on for your BM dresses? Let me know if I can help in any way. Contiued success to all...
