HEY DID YOU GUYS GET THE EMAIL FOR 9/24 SHOWCASE IS IT WORTH GOING?

FROM WHAT I READ IN THE EMAIL IT SEEMS THAT LEONARDS IS JUST DOING A SHOWCASE OF DJS, INVITATIONS, ETC. IM PLANNING ON GOING IF YOU WANT THE INFO I WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO FORWARD IT OVER TO YOU FORUM ME YOUR EMAIL

I'm DEFINATELY attending the showcase. I'm still in need of a few vendors.

Is anyone attending the Food Tasting this Saturday?

Tommy: but he's on a LOA

Hey fellow Leonards brides. I heard about that showcase. When was it again? I can't remember.

So I booked Leonards mainly because of the price and secondly beacuse for the most part I really like the decor.

But so far I haven't been thrilled with their service. Every time I tried to get in touch with Tommy, he wouldn't call me back.
I spoke to Ian on the phone and didn't really care for his tone.
I think I am gong to meet with someone else on Friday.

There are a couple of things I'm apprehensive about like the cake. I really wanted fondant but the included one is buttercream and I heard it's not that great tasting..They have a cake upgrade if you wanted a more fancy one but there was one girl on here who just had her wedding there and paid the upgrade and what they made her was insanely not what they promised her and frankly I think they should have been embarrassed to put that out for their customers.

I havent been to a tasting yet but heard that the food is awesome.
Love the dessert buffet too..can't wait for that.

Anyhow, that's all I have to say for now...I hope I didn't bring anyone down but I'm waiting for Leonards to make me feel more confident in my decision...so we shall see.

BTW, does anyone else have any worries?

I went to a wedding there in 07' and they had a fondant cake and it was one of the most delicious cakes i ever tasted!!! I guess it can be a hit or miss as with other places as well.

Aww thank you . I saw an 09 brides cake littlepixie12 i believe and her cake looked beautiful. I had also heard awhile back they changed their baker so maybe that's why their cakes improved just don't get how they messed up that other brides cake.

I don´t have one anymore (it was tommy but i was told he didn´t work there anymore)

I was getting horrible service as well. I was given some info and then other people keep getting other info. I feel like they took advantage because I´m overseas. Antonio seems nice. I think I´m going to make him my new BM.

I have a question. Are any of you in a Room other than the Empire Room with a 100 or less min?? I think I will need to switch my room b/c I´ll have more people now but I dont´want to guarantee 100 b.c i´m not positive.
