Can you believe final plans still aren't ironed out? We'll be in Kaua'i on the northshore in Princeville - Westin.

I'll be there Aug 18-Sept 1: Oahu for 4 days at Outrigger Reef on the beach, then Kauai for for 4 days, then Maui for 5 days. Still have to book a few of the hotels! We're flying United out of LGA and got a pretty good deal.

Delta is having some great fares now. Airfare in general has dropped a lot. Check on sidestep.com

I booked my direct flight with Continental leaving Newark to Oahu for 550 each person (roundtrip). I'm flying out on the 24th but I'm sure the prices are the same).

I'm staying at Halekulani in Oahu and the Hyatt in Kauai.

Re: August Hawaii Honeymoon ladies!!!

Continental had great deals in an out of Oahu a few weeks ago when we booked.. they had flights for 498.. we ended up using miles bc we wanted to fly in and out of the islands and those tickegts were over 1,000.

we are going to Kona for 3 nights-- Fairmont Orchid

4 nights in Kaui @ the Westin in Princeville

and 4 nights in Maui @ the Four Seasons.

we havent booked our hotels yet though =)

btw... for those staying in Kaui.. what made you decide between staying in the south-- popiu area v. the princeville area

.. sorry my spelling of the hawaiin islands s*cks more than my spelling in general!

The Grand Wailea, Maui!

Re: August Hawaii Honeymoon ladies!!!

August 10: AA Flight from Kennedy to LAX, LAX to Kona (Big Island)
August 10 - 14: Big Island (Marriot)
August 14 - 19: Maui (Grand Wailea Resort & Spa)
August 19: AA Flight from Maui to LAX
August 20: AA Flight from LAX to Laguardia

Put dates girls... the Marriot and the Four Seasons are on either side of the Grand Wailea, so good chance you would run into each other on Maui if you are there at the same time.
