avatar question

i'm trying to change the picture and i keep getting told that the file is not right and it won't allow it. i googled my image, found it, right clicked it, saved it, went to my account, hit browse for avatar picture, and then updated it and it won't let me use any of the 700 pictures i found. what do i do?

has to be a gif or jpg
it has to be sized correctly as well.

Try using the resizer on your pic and then try to attach it.

I had to save mine as a jpg into my documents, it wouldnt let me do it from shutterfly.

How do you folks get all the little pictures and cartoons you use for avatars? What does 'right clicking' do? (My mouse doesn't have a right click button -- it's a Mac.) I am computer illiterate!

I've always loved happy bunny since I stumbled across it a few years ago in a Hot Topic.

We love to shop at Hot topic.. so much old school stuff. Jim buys Spiderman gear, I get Happy Bunny.

I forget how to 'right click' on a Mac sorry.. but you don't HAVE to right click.

Just File, Save As, and put it in a folder.
Then try attaching it by using the 'Browse' option. If that doesn't work still then try clicking the 'Resizer' button up top and Browse to locate and then click 'Resize' and it will email you the image. Then you can detach it from your email (i usually save it over my old file) and then come back to My account and 'Browse' choose the updated (resized) image and see if it works.

you can ask LIWeddings NYCityWeddings to do it for you.

Just send them a Forum Mail from this site. The easiest way I find to do this is to go to the Brides helping Brides page. On top is usually a post from LIWeddings. Open that post and under the original post click the 'Forum Mail' button. It will automatically put in the correct sender info. You just type up a message saying here's my image www.blahblabh.com and it looks like a blue background with a white bunny holding a knife. Could you please update my avatar, Im on a Mac and can't figure out how (not too computer wise, yet).

Im sure Ron would help you out!
