Has anyone been to the Aventura Spa in Riviera Maya? How was it?

Re: aventura spa
We're going there in January for our honeymoon - it looks amazing and I've heard raves from one of my old co-workers.

we passed it on our way from Barcelo Maya- it was very pretty, but extremely spread out- there seemed to be a lot of walking. I would strongly reccomend the Barcelo Maya Colonial- it's beautiful and the food is awesome

Ladies, we're looking to go here for an early 1st anniversary in Feb. & I wanted to know who/where to book through for the lowest price. My bro & my parents (separately, obviously) went & LOVED it.

I hear great things about this place - we couldnt decide btwn here and excellence. we chose excellence based on opinions and reviews on trip advisor, food and our travel agents opinion. Aventura is having a great special they price was half what excellence is so its agreat way to save some money. but feel at ease b/c I have spoken with many picky people who have LOVED It -

Re: aventura spa
we went here... there is info in my review about it... we booked through Dawn at Cruise One (a vendor on here)
If you love the beach and are looking for a beach, i would not recommend here... there is no beach... but there are beautiful pools... i also dont think it was too spread out at all... nothing was too far to walk and there were shuttles too, but we never used them...
