I met with a florist today- so many choices!! What is the average cost of centerpieces usually? I don't want to do one of those high centerpieces- I want it lower to the table but not so it looks non-existent. We'll have about 25 tables I think - so I am wondering what is a good price.

My florist is able to work with any budget. We are doing low centerpeices with about 2 dozen black magic roses in a fishbowl and pillar candles for $60-65.

Im paying 50 (low) and supplying my own buckets which I got for about $8 a piece. edited to add that I am getting roses, lillies, stock and calla lillies w/ some filler

It really depends upon what you want in them. My friend had a HUGE wedding and had like 32 tables or something- she couldn't afford to do something super elaborate- but wanted very elegant- so she opted for 2 dozen tulips in a bubble vase with votive candles scattered around the table- it looked beautiful and I think they were around $35 or so.
I had roses, lilies and heather in a silver metal vase, they were $85 each

I paid $75 for high (pedestal) all roses and ivy (15 included at that price), anything over 15 tables is $89.

What did your $55 centerpieces from Burtons look like? What flowers were in them? I am thinking of Black Magic roses and ivory roses basically.

Well I didn't pick out my centerpieces yet but my contract says any flower that I want - i think that is for everyone.

Mine are $185 for high. They have a ton of different flowers. Not filler.

when i went to check our verdi's reception hall they said they dont include centerpieces but could get them for 'about $15 a table'

You have a choice of a few different centerpieces from Burtons for $55. One has a hurricane candle lamp in the middle w/ flowers around it. One has three candles (at different heights) in the middle - I think we are getting this one. And the other is a medium fishbowl.
We will have all roses (light purple and light yellow) with ome yellow filler. There will be two dozen roses.
