average cost of centerpieces?

I met with a florist today- so many choices!! What is the average cost of centerpieces usually? I don't want to do one of those high centerpieces- I want it lower to the table but not so it looks non-existent. We'll have about 25 tables I think - so I am wondering what is a good price.

Our place provides the centerpieces through their contracted florist. We were really disappointed with the service at that florist so the woman doing my bouquets is arranging the centerpieces. The flowers are about $40 and I bought the ceramic pitchers (or still hoping to buy) for about $10 each. 20 tables.

50 for low, but I also bought ceramic castles, that the flowers will go around like a wreath. The castles were 26 each. So I'm spending about 76 dollars on each centerpiece.
