Average cost of florist...help

I would like to know what was the average cost of your flowers. You don't have to provide the name of the florist, just the amount. I am trying to get a 'ball park' idea of how much is going to cost us.
My flowers will be calla lilies.
Any help will be appreciated.....

The first one will be our centerpieces
The second photo will be my bouquet
The third photo will be BM's bouquet

We will be having our reception at DeSeversky Mansion and we want sophisticated, classy, elegant clean lines. Kind of 'less is more' thing

all i know is i've heard raves about Flowers by Burton and Flower Michelle, I know Flowers by Burtons charges the same amount no matter what flower you choose....their located in huntington....i plan on going to check them out soon!

It depends on how many centerpieces, boKs etc you have....but I'm not sure how much calla lilies cost. My budget for flowers is $1000, for 10 centerpieces, my boK, corsages for the moms, and decorating the ceremony site (including flowers on the pews). I'm not using calla lilies so I'm not sure if that will be helpful or not!!

PS- FH and i originally were going to book deseversky - i absolutely love it!!!

That is a great price What kind of flowers are you using? I will have about 11 to 12 centerpieces, and want evrything else you are having, plus 4 BM's bouquets, and the flowers for flowergirls (2 of them)

I told our florist (Verbena Designs - they are EXCELLENT - you should contact them!) to use whatever is in season in the Fall, to cut back on cost...I know there are a lot of roses involved but at this point I am not sure what else.....

3 Church arrangements
2 mother corsages
2 grandmother corsages
all boutineers (around10)
pew bows
flower girl basket

all was 2500 and any kind of flowers we want

I've been quoted from $1450 to almost $3K for the same needs. It really varies and there is no average. I large wedding may need more CPs and bridal party BoKs than a smaller one so it's hard to say.

just to give you an idea - i was told that calla lillies cost $12 a flower...hope this helps

I can't believe how much CPs cost. My RH is including them. I guess that is why I am not realizing how much people need to spend. I guess I really am clueless. As a suggestion for anyone getting married in a church, did you ever considering sharing the flower cost with another couple that may be getting married that day? Don't the flowers usually get left behind? It may require a compromise, but at least it will save you a little. I was looking at 3 Bm, 1 MOH and 1 FG, 2 mothers and 2 fathers, 4 ushers and B&G for 500-600. I was going to make an arrangement for the ceremony and few bows. I am also making a candle arrangement to go with the centerpiece flowers the hall is providing, through a florist, we get to pick out the colors and kind within a budget.
