I would like to know what was the average cost of your flowers. You don't have to provide the name of the florist, just the amount. I am trying to get a 'ball park' idea of how much is going to cost us. My flowers will be calla lilies. Any help will be appreciated.....
The first one will be our centerpieces The second photo will be my bouquet The third photo will be BM's bouquet
We will be having our reception at DeSeversky Mansion and we want sophisticated, classy, elegant clean lines. Kind of 'less is more' thing

Try June Florist on 18th Avenue right off of 86th Street. They did a magnificent job on both my son's wedding and gave 'A LOT' for the price. Speak with Jimmy. We had 20 centerpieces, 12 BMs, junior BM, Flower girl, MOH, Bride, 6-8 corsages, buttonaires to go with the bo-ks, flowers for church and pews and a throw away bo-k for an amazing price just a little more than the 2500 posted.

Check out Flowers by Emil on 18th Avenue & 74th Street in Bklyn - his website's horrible, but trust me, he does amazing work at fantastic prices.
The CP/bouquets you posted should be around:
Centerpieces (10-12 calla's in a tall glass vase) - $85 - $100 each Bride's Bouq - $125 BM Bouq - $75

You should definitely check out Designs by Rose...they do amazing work and have gorgeous callas! I'm getting callas on cps too.

check designs by rose..my CPs were around $80 a piece cant remember - there were 12 long stem callas, white orchids and blue delphiniums - vase included (did not have to return)..
just be specific and bring pictures...and make sure everything is written down word for word!

I'm using flowers by burton ..they are awesome..same price for any flower you want.. im having about 12 high centerpieces and they quoted me around 1500!!!!!

i'd like to know too! I got quoted 3700... 18 high centerpeices my boq 3 bm boq throw away 2 mother cros 4 boutineres 15 other bout for family petals for card table flowers for cake 2 flower girls throw away petals for after ceremony (just first 3 rows) i think that's all.. they wouldn't give me the contract details until i signed.

we are getting my bouquet 5 BM bouquets 16 CP's 2 altar baskets bows for the pews flowers for the cake 2 smaller bouquets for the mothers 1 corsage for my grandma About 10 Bout's
I am not sure if i am forgetting anything...it has been a while...all and all it came to about $1800
our flowers are gerbera daisies, hydrangea, and green summer berries

Ok I checked with my Florist (Roots) how much a centerpiece like that would cost...but I said 15-20 callas and some wheat grass....she said $75 as a rental, $90 to keep it. It may be less if you do 10 calla lillies.
Definitely go meet a few florists. I met with 3 and got so many good ideas!
