average prices for flowers

wow, thanks for the replies to my favors post. You guys are too much (in a good way!) - I had replies in 5 minutes! LOL Thanks!
Another q: what is your 'average' price for flowers? As in something very simple on the altar (its a very nice church and - again - fiance being stubborn on getting flowers for altar - I swear sometimes it's nice when they are NOT that involved! - pew bows, 7 boutonneires, my bouquet, 4 others and a throwaway. And at least 20 centerpieces, and one for my dais. My friend paid $1800 for hers but I think she had less tables than I will. And she didn't have any flowers at her church - it was very ornate already.
Oh I know there's a wedding before mine, do other brides like to share the cost? I'm afraid to call this girl (first off I woiuld have to call the church to find her number and they might not want to give it out) and even then, some brides get weird when they find out another wedding is after theirs (they like to think they are the only one that day maybe? or that they will feel rushed? I didn't know until after we booked that there was a wedding before ours).
Any suggestions or avg. prices would be appreciated.I'm going to Mormile (sp) in RVC tomorrow to set up an appointment. I heard they are very good.
