How much it too much for people to spend on a bachelorette party? Looks like our trip to vegas is going to cost about $800... is that too much to ask my friends to pay?

Re: B-party
is that for everything? like food/drinks? or just flight and hotel? and how long?
it all depends on your friends. My friends were willing to spend $ while i was trying to save them $ but they didn't care. it's like a mini vaca for them

Ouch. $800 is A LOT. I honestly could not ask my girls to pay that much on top of everything else they are paying for. I also think that they would have a heart attack if I told them that number. However, if they are willing to do it for you, that is AMAZING!!!!!!

Re: B-party
ugh - yea... it is a lot. I feel bad bc my MOH did all this crazy research, but I feel reeeeeeally bad asking them to pay that much. I may need to sit down and tell her that I don't feel comfortable asking for then to pay that much.

Re: B-party
Perosnally, i think $800 not including food or drinks is a lot of money to pay, but if everyone is ok with it, then go for it. flights to anywhere are crazy expensive right now, which sucks. but if your girls knew you were going to go to Vegas, then they knew it would have cost them some money.
I'm having the same stupid problem. we are having a joint Bachelor/Bachelorette party and everyone in our BP is married so all the girls are my BM and all the guys are my GM. We gave them the option of two ticket prices. one was $116 and one was $156 with the higher ticket including an open bar. i told them the majority rules so whichever ticket everyone wants to buy, every one has to buy that one (per the cruises policy, we are doing a Spirit Cruise in NYC)
No one has even responded to my e-mail and those who did have been giving me so much sh!it about it. it would come out to about $300 - to $330 per person.

im going to vegas for 5 nights in april... airfare was a lot because of the week.. but palms is awesome.. ive stayed there before.. and they are reasonable.. and give you breaks on clubs etc.
Split it with as many people as possible in a room.
Also they take a AAA discount

Re: B-party
My friends flew to Vegas for a big fight weekend and paid like $300 for flight and hotel by using these package deals they bought from BJ's warehouse. Not sure if that is an option for you but I would check it out.
You don't have to stay in a REALLY super expensive hotel as long as you are on the strip and close to the pools...
