so, i finally booked my b-pics today. i'm taking them 2/8 w/ mariann from blue daisy. i was going to take them w/ AG, then realized i don't know how to read, so had to cancel. anyway, does anyone have any good suggestions for a make-up person. i'm not able to have my wedding day person do it. since the pics will be taken in the city, i don't mind if it's someone in western nassau or in the city. or do you think i should go to MAC and try to book someone from there for my epics. TIA!!

if youre doing the pics in the city, are you will to stop in queens to get your make up done? if so try christies & co in bayside, its $40 for regular make up and $65 for airbrush and they do a great job
if not then definitely try lumara in massapequa, its $75 for airbrush...i had it done there and LOVED how they did it...my profile pic, with the cranberry dress(not avatar but when you click on my profile) is from the day they did my make up

I always recommend the girls at MAC..they'll work with you and find your perfect look .. but I am totally biased because I am obsessed with MAC

I went to DiRosa in Franklin Square and they do Airbrushing amazingly. LOVE IT. They charge just about $75 as well.

When I had my shoot with Mariann in NYC, I went to the Mac in queens and spent about $40 to buy stuff and I got the free make over.
It lasted well into the night also so that was good.
Have fun at your shoot.

aw, thank you!! she actually had availability this weekend, she's doing shoots at the suite all weekend, but it's my shower, so i couldn't do it. it sounds like fun though! she doesn't have a studio at the moment though, so i'm still unsure where they'll be taken. i'm really excited though!!
do you know how much MAC charges? and where to i go? there are so many........ are you having your make up done?

No mama, I have more makeup at home then God intended, so Im just gonna take my time and do mine myself before I go.I know MAC is inalmost every mall, no? And I think if you buy something like 20 dollars worth of products, the makeup session is free. I think clinque and estee lauder do that too.
And yes..the suite!! 4 more days!!
