Babies on Soy Formula and Moving to Dairy

Ryan has been on soy formula mainly because when I stopped BF'ing he seemed to be very gassy and uncomfortable on regular formula. Slight lactose intolerance runs in my DH's family so we figured better safe than sorry so I switched to soy. Anyhoo, now that we are starting some dairy products I was wondering if anyone noticed that their soy formula baby had trouble with milk based products in the beginning? Dr. said it might take a bit of adjustment but I was curious about other experiences...

Aidan was on Infamil from 2 months on until we switched him to regular milk at a year . My Dr. told me just to make the switch -- but Aidan did nt take to it very well -- His tummy was upset and he was gassy -- so I did a few bottles of soy -- and slightly introduced the milk. After a week or so -- he was on all milk and doing great .
