Baby itch??

Ok lately I don't whats up with me..but i've been getting the 'baby itch' especially when i see other couples with kids! I want to wait a couple of years to have kids after i get married..but i almost feel like i want one now!!!!!!!! do any of you girls feel this way? Its becoming worse everyday!!!

I was just talking to my FH about that today. I told him that I hope by this time next year i will be pregnant....I don't think he feels the same though

I feel the exact same way!!!! I know that I want to wait a couple years and enjoy being married BUT then I see FH's little cousins or his neice and nephew and I get the baby itch. His whole family teases me because as soon as I get to a family event, I'm holding one of the little ones. They all tease FH that he's going to have a HM baby!!!!

I'm going to be starting my first job as a lawyer immediately after the wedding, so it's going to be a few years at least before babies come


Same here.

Career first. Then financial stability. Then baby.

That order for me.

i have a DD already as most of you know.. but i do have the itch also.. and i will *scratch* it in the near future the way i see it is- i already have one.. one or two more wont kill me lol no but seriously, i really want another one soon.. my DD is 4yrs old now

well, i'm definitely no spring chicken and neither is FH so we dont have too much time to 'waste' and we've already been living together for 2 years

I'm set in my career so no real reason for us to wait - besides, its fun to practice!!

wow, you girls must be really young. I have to wait a couple of years after marriage because we won't be ready financially and what sux is that I'm not gettting any younger.

I'm with you, I'm not feeling it. When I see babies it just reinforces I want a family. I don't have the itch yet.

No itch.....there is no doubt in my mind that i want children, i just want to wait and enjoy being married for a little bit, get settled in a nice house and just be happy....

After FH proposed I really had no desire to start planning the wedding, I just felt like there was no rush. Then all of a sudden the 'itch' started like CRAZIE!!!! I knew I wanted to get married first so thats how I got all wedding crazy!! I can't wait to have a baby!!

I most certainly do NOT have baby fever!

Right now I just want to buy pretty outfits and shoes for myself. Maybe someday, but not today.

i dont get it? how would that make everyone young do you mean old that would make more sense with your statement.

i would like to wait about 2 years, ill be 28 when i get married and fh will be 29 so when were 30 and 31 i think thats a good age to start

between the 2 of us we have 10 nieces and nephews
FH actually has the itch worse than me
when we get married (in 3 months) i'll be 34 and FH will be 36 so we gotta get a move on!!!!

i def. feel that way a lot of the time.. although i know financially we arent ready..
but ure def. not alone!! And if i don't have one i def. want someone else to have one cause i miss being around little babies lol... my FG and RB are 3 already but it seems like only yesterday i was out there helping change diapers and they were so tiny and helpless ... they get big so fast.

Well I already have one, my GORGEOUS little Gabriella who just turned one...
Honeymoon, we are going for another!!!!
As much as I want another one, hopefully it dont happen until after the wedding LOL!
The first time we tried planning our wedding, surprise!!!!
This time Im NOT letting that happen... Ill be married first... As for trying to save lots of money or having a new house, personally... You are never really ready for a baby.. No matter how much money you have, how old you are, or whether you rent or own.. You cant ever be fully prepared... When its time its time... Trust me, there is no way in the world you can fully prepare yourself for a baby....
But when that baby arrives, no matter what situation you are in, your life will be beyond fulfilled.... Its the most amazing yet hardest thing you will ever experience... There is nothing like your own!!!

NO most girls said they wanted to wait a few years; most didnt say they were going to try right away
