Baby Journal
I am sure you guys all have one - I never got one! I have this beautiful book my dad bought me of all black and white pictures of little newborns, and each opposing page is pretty much blank with a small poem down at the bottom. I was thinking of just recording info in that book since it's such a pretty book. But I know the journals have kind of guidelines - like 'first time she coos', 'first smile', etc. What are some of the first month milestones in your books? I don't want to miss anything! I feel like if I dont' start writing things down I am going to forget this amazing experience!

Re: Baby Journal
I did corny stuff like 'first long car ride to visit Aunt Dawn in NJ', 'first trip to Grandma's in the Poconos', 'first trip to Nanny & Papa's', 'first b'day party for great Nanny', etc.
BTW, I LOVE that picture of Sophia (and I apologize for incorrectly spelling it in another post awhile back
)!! It's absolutely stunning and she really is gorgeous!!!

Re: Baby Journal
oh that's a good idea! all the visiting and people that came to visit. I wouldn't have thought of that.Don't worry about the spelling! Everybody does it. It's so funny when you are choosing names, and you think of all the things that are going to happen to the child with that name. Like when we were considering Amelia we kept saying -they are going to call her Amelia Bedelia. Or what if her nickname is Mealy....I never thought with Sophia that all her life people are going to be saying - is that a 'ph' or an 'f'? Oh well! Everybody has a cross to bear right?!?!?

Re: Baby Journal
You'd be surprised how many people spelled Gianna with one 'n' and Joe's grandmother can't pronounce it for anything!!!!
My name was the same thing -- everyone puts Deborah, but it's Debra. So Joe jokes around and calls me 'De-boor-ah' and it gets on my nerves!!!!
