bach party woes

so I have 11 bmaids. I wanted to go to Vegas or New Orleans for my bachelorette party and only 2 of them said they could afford to go.

They want to do something for me in NYC, but that's not what I want to do b/c I live here and it's not like special for me.

what are you guys doing for yours (if you know) and how much is/was it??

looking into places for driving distance if airfare is the issue...what about AC? MD/DC? DC is fun! Boston? Hamptons?

we are doing the wineries, bus, tastings and lunch come to $125 pp person. My best friends family has a house out there, so a bunch of us can sleep there and we are doing a big dinner at the house after!

I've done this before and had a blast!!!

i don't want to be ungrateful or anything, but I was pretty surprised that no one could afford to go away and I have literally spent $1000-1500 on their weddings when it's all said and done, including a lot for their bach parties.

I said I'd pay for myself for Vegas.

I really don't know what else I'd want to do...Fire Island maybe so we can lay out?

you're wedding is a month after mine. We're either going to Vegas or the Hard Rock in Florida...AMAZING August 6th thru the 9th! Come with us. I only have 3 girls going and you have 2! It would be a blast!

I hear ya. My MOH and 2 BM's are taking me to Vegas for Halloween weekend. But I have 3 girls who cant go so we will prob do something closer and low key for them.

What about an all-out weekend in AC? Like stay at the Borgata and do a spa weekend. Thats at least less money for them.. And whoever can't make it, oh well. These things get expensive for everyone.

My FSIL looked into the Brogata. It was MORE expensive then going away!! That place is crazy! If you want to do AC then do that to make it easier on people. We went to the Trop for my friends and it was a blast and kinda cheap. But if you are dead set about going away, I say DO IT!

I wanted Vegas or Ac but knew no one could afford it. I We did city even though it's not a big deal and I had THE BEST TIME. My SIL got a hotel room and it was a great night. I had a blast and will never forget what I can remember lol
I only had 5 people with me too.
