so I have 11 bmaids. I wanted to go to Vegas or New Orleans for my bachelorette party and only 2 of them said they could afford to go.
They want to do something for me in NYC, but that's not what I want to do b/c I live here and it's not like special for me.
what are you guys doing for yours (if you know) and how much is/was it??

I have no idea how much it'll end up being....but we're going to Lucky Chengs, then out to some bars in the area....then to Pomme Frites late night for some amaaaaaazing french fries haha.

We actually got a phenomenal deal for Vegas- it was $315 per person. Would they be opposed to going during the week? We left Thursday morning and that really helped.
What about AC?

we did a cruise to nowhere
it was about 180 a person. we each paid for ourselves. i didnt mind paying for myself and neither did fh. we dont want anything from anybody

We are just having a spa day and a girls night out. Nothing crazy.
Don;t worry about your bach party, if they can't afford it, they can't. I'm sure they'll make it special for you wherever it is!

going to mets/yankees game at citi field...
ticket $49 bus $ not sure yet... havent picked a company but between $20 and $50 a person i would say... another $20 for beer
beer in the stadium will be paid individually...
this is what i wanted to do... if i wanted to go away and not everyone could then i would have found something else i wanted to do...
Vegas and New Orleans are great... but there are places that are closer and cheaper that you could go to

I really really wanted to go away too and it definitely doesn't look like that is going to happen.
I say that we have a 'LIW Bachelorette Party' and Jet Blue is having a sale right now so I think this is the perfect time to look into it.

My bparty is this Saturday. We're just staying in New York (don't know the details, they want it to be a surprise), I don't really mind that it's local. I understand the girls have to pay for things and I don't want anyone spending more than they can afford.

i don't want to be ungrateful or anything, but I was pretty surprised that no one could afford to go away and I have literally spent $1000-1500 on their weddings when it's all said and done, including a lot for their bach parties.
I said I'd pay for myself for Vegas.
I really don't know what else I'd want to do...Fire Island maybe so we can lay out?

I am going to AC for the weekend with my girls. Everybody cant make it to AC due to whatever reason...mostly financial...so i am also having a night out on the town another weekend here in the city. I am so down for 2 parties

we're going out east for the weekend. we're staying at the greenporter and taking a wine tour during the day. it is still $$$ but at least those of them that are local don't have to fly. and those that really can't afford it are coming out for just the wine tour part.

i really wanted to go to Vegas or Miami and so did a few of my other girls. I have 9 ppl in my bridal party though so not everyone could do it. So we decided that we are just sticking around Manhattan. Its not ideal since I live in the city and go out all the time here.....but i figure whatever we do it will be a special night all about me so we will have a blast.

I looked into FI but you need to book a full weekend and then it is still going to cost them anywhere from $150-$200/night per person.

Going to Vegas! 528pp for flight and 4 night stay at hotel. I dont think that was such a bad gig...especially because its in the dead of summer. Not all my BMs are going...actually.... only 4 of them are, and I have 8, but some of my other friends that arent in the bachelorette party ARE going. I really wanted to go to vegas, because FH and I plan on startin a family not too long after we are married, and I know ill never get to do something like this again. If you really wanna go, make it work or else you will regret it. A week or 2 befofre the wedding I am going to do a low key night in the city and the whole bridal party will come. 2 bachelorette parties for me! WOO!
