What do you ladies think of the tradition of men getting a stripper for the bachelor party???? Would you be upset or okay with it....Thank you in advance!!!!

It wouldn't bother me. I just don't like the mentality of 'this is my last night as a free man'. You hear that A LOT! My guy is planning a lowkey night of playing xbox with his brothers.

Its definitely a traditional thing that a lot of guys do..i wouldnt be upset..trust your guy..its fine! oh and the strippers dont want your honey just their money!

I have to be the different one here- lo-l and say it would totally bother me. I know the strippers are only out for the money, and I totally trust my FH BUT I'm just not comfortable with it.

I think it depends on what you think about strippers in general. If you think it's perfectly fine for men to go to strip clubs and look at women dance, then it shouldn't bother you. However, if you don't think it's good to go to places like that at all, then of course it would bother you.
I personally would not be with a man that went places like that. There would then be no issue with the bachelor party. This is my opinion, several women do not think there is anything wrong with it, so that's why it's accepted in many relationships.

I really have no problem with it being just an occasional thing, like for bachelor parties. If my FH was doing this all the time for no special reason he'd be out on his a** real fast

I have mixed feelings on this. Part of me doesn't mind because I do trust my FH ... the part of me that minds is the fact that some of these strippers are just plain nasty ... and from a bach party FH went to last year the groom was so drunk that the guys paid for something 'special' the poor groom was stripped to his boxers and ridden across the stage by the girls with his belt around his neck vomit! I will say that the gm felt bad after they didnt know it would be that bad but still.
My rules are (and there were already negotiated with one of the gm in our party, don't ask) he is not to touch the girls, no sucking anything off of anything, FH comes home alive and his clothes MUST be burned after
So in the end, it is what it is and I jsut wont think about it .. and SIL and I said whatever the guys can do, we can do better (put a little scare in them lol)

I didn't care about strippers, but my DH hates them...
Our parties were on the same weekend. I went away and he stood home. They went fishing in the morning, came back and cooked what they caught (which wasn't anything so they went to the fish market and bought stuff), smoked cigars at night, and then the next day went golfing!

I know guys typically do this for the bachelor party, and I can deal with that, but if he touched or was touched, i'd be VERY unhappy. You can control the situation. If he went randomly though, on a regular night, i'd be totally skeeved out.

Okay thank you ladies for your thoughts and opinions...I would have to say that although I do trust my man, if there was a stripper and she was giving him a lap dance or even if he was looking at her naked body, I would have to cancel the wedding...I am just not comfortable with my FH lusting and looking at another woman in that manner it's like come on you want that nasty hoe well then you can have amongst others with out me around lol I just wanted to know what others thought!!!! :)

DH went to Vegas for his bach. party so there were definitely strip clubs involved (though not as many as I would've thought!) and it was fine. I trust him implicitly. His friends can do whatever disgusting things they want, I don't care. And they did.
ETA: I just saw your response. I respect your opinion, but I disagree entirely. Have you or FH ever watched porn? It's no different, really.

I am with u chica.... So dont feel like ur the only one...
My DH and I were raised like very OLD fashioned lol.. so strippers is a very fked up thing to do... We told each other IT IS NOT ABOUT TRUST FOR US... it is about Respect.. We feel is completely disrespectful to do that...
So We didnt do any BP...
I cant even imagine my DH having (.)(.) & (_'_) all over his face!.. Yuck! Disgusting! Same thing with him.. he cant imagine myself having ---> all over me...
I know many girls have jummped at me when I say this.. but I STILL STAND TO MY OPINION...
I am just glad my DH is the same way with me...
and as long as u both see EYE to EYE, that is ALL it matters...
I do complete respect everyone elses opinions... i hope they respect my opinion about strippers too...

I'm ok with my fiancé going to a strip club, but recently one of his groomsmen mention a weekend trip with his boys to Montreal for his bachelor party, with a private jet and everything. This for me is out of the question....lol

This was another no no for me .. told him no Canada. From what I hear strip clubs there are more lenient

My FH told his groomsmen he wanted golf and a nice dinner. Well some of his friends not in the wedding party and didn't like that idea so they told the wedding party they will do something else with him, FH said no thank you to them.

I know my FH isn't a huge fan of strippers so it's kind of a non issue for us. I really think some men just go to strip joints as a tradition of bachelor parties...it's so cliche. They need some new ideas!

funny me and FH were just talking about this last night. FH has never been the one to wanna go to a strip club to begin with, he always saw it as a waste of money lol but he one of his friends always loved it so he had to tag along from time to time. (funny tho cause when it came time for that guy to get married he didnt wanna go to a strip club at all lol)
