They're strippers, not hookers! Its like watching porn, but in person. I don't see the big deal. Its not like he's going to go in a back room with one of them.

I have heard so many stories to the contrary. For a little extra cash, many of those dancers will switch roles rather quickly. I know of three, YES three wifes whose nerdy, quiet, and completely responsible husbands did some dirty work in a back room the night of his bachelor party. The guys in his party paid for it in advance and the 'dancer' danced him all the way to ecstasy....Most men wouldn't say no when a group of his friends is coaching him on and counting on him to make their nights memorable. Anyway....there ARE private rooms in the back of most places. They exist for a reason.

Its not just a 'LITTLE' extra cash, most places its a decent amount of cash, if its some small shady place then maybe. Most guys i know and even those that cheat dont want to pay x amount of dollars to sleep with a girl, to them its kind of like they have to pay someone if they couldn't get it on their own so they don't like that. There are private rooms but if you trust a guy doesnt mean he'll do it. Theres also the bunny ranch in vegas, but not alot of guys would pay 2k for a bj

i think its bs when guys say they dont like strippers or strip clubs FH says he's not into it, he never goes to them now but i know for sure he is going to have a good time and enjoy himself at his BP. what guy wouldnt enjoy watching beautiful women with nice bodies prance around naked? id have to be a fool to think that he wouldnt enjoy himself......some guys might actually believe themself when they say they dont like strippers but put a guy in a strip club and im sure he will find something that he enjoys to look at!

there is only 1 thing i asked FH not to do for his BP and that was go away - i want him to come home that night....there is no reason he needs to go to someplace like Vegas when we live in one the best cities in the world - with the wedding coming up we don't have the money for him to go to Vegas and there is no way his friends have the money to take him there without him having to pay for any of his own expenses. we arent made of money and i think it would be a huge waste. i also dont like the idea of him traveling across the country for his BP - i trust him 100% but i feel like going someplace like Las Vegas is asking for trouble. i really dont want my FH wasted for 3 days in a place where the motto is 'what happens in vegas, stays in vegas' i rather him have a few drinks, get a few lap dances and come home to me

I agree, i think guys are lying if they say they don't like strip clubs! I also think guys are lying when they say that it's their friends who are making them go. I know my FH and he doesn't do what he doesn't want to do...and I don't see how friends can 'make' anyone do anything. Like others said before...it will be over very quickly and you can move on with your life together. It makes me sick to think of my FH in vegas but it's just something he wants to do with his friends. His friends are a disaster and i hate the stories they tell, but I know it's what FH wants. He tells me....if I wanted to cheat I can do it anytime i want, i don't have to be in vegas (i don't think i typed that right it wasn't a mean thing to say) and it's true. You can't marry a man you think is always going to cheat on you. As for strippers....I don't see it as a sexual thing at all. I've been with FH a few times and its pure silliness! lol Even lap dances...my FH's friends bought him one while i was there! (which i didn't like at all) and i feel as long as it's not taboo and there is no lying about it then whatever...lol

Hang in there...it will all work out! You'll get through the Bachelor party and enjoy your wedding!

Some men i know actually don't like strip clubs, i also find it very weird, but their whole thing is paying money to some girl, they think they're too good for it, one example of one of these guys i know who never goes and whenever his friends go he wont go no matter how much they try to make him go. Does that make him a saint? no he cheats all the time

i agree with the whole, if a guy is gonna cheat he'll do it anyways it doesnt have to be at his bachelor party. A guy doesn't have to travle x amount of miles to cheat, he can do it locally, he doesnt have to wait for an opportunity like a bachelor party, he'll do it regardless. A cheater is a cheater no matter where he is or what the occasion is. A guy who is not a cheater won't become one just for the bachelor party

I can see why past experiences would make you anxious and nervous, however, you are marrying your FH because you love him and trust that he would never cheat on you or hurt you. Trust in him to make good decisions!!!

im not worried about it. i might be a little uncomfortable if FH was going away or making a trip out of it because id be jealous that i wasnt on a vacation and he was and because id feel a little insecure that he is out partying at clubs, so far away from home, where there are gorgeous girls everywhere - not because i think he would do anything - but because i know how attractive i think he is and i can already see girls flocking to him i rather him go to a strip club see some T & A and do the traditional BP thing with his boys. im not worried - he is coming home to me and i know my FH loves me and i know i turn him on - so even if he gets off from the girls at the strip club (yuck ), i'll just have to do some dancing of my own when he gets home

My FH already had his. They went away for 4 days and 3 nights. Had tickets to a huge football game, did the whole strip club things, got wasted, caused trouble I'm sure, but it was fine. I saw all the pictures and heard all the stories and in the end, his worst crime was that he drank so much that he HAD to take off work the day after he got home cause he was still so hungover. I thought it was hysterical. Someone mentioned earlier how bachelor parties are sometimes more for the friends of the groom to go crazy and that's EXACTLY what happened at FH's b-party. His friends were insane and he laughed at them and had a great time and that made me soooo happy. I trust him completely......in full disclosure I don't trust some of his friends, but he's not them and he had a mind of his own, he won't do what he doesn't want to do and they won't 'make' him. They're not 12. They're grown men.

yeah they'll like the girls...i was just making a point about guys i know who dont like strip clubs, but they cheat on their gf's.

I just think that people are so afraid of strip clubs and at least there they have a bouncer watching the guys making sure they dont touch the girls, they have to pay in order to get things from a girl. I think clubs or bars can be worst.

I did ask FH not to go to Vegas; they are prob going to go to AC. For some reason, I can handle AC much easier than Vegas. And to be honest, it's not the strip club that even bothers me... its the thoguht of those other places that have women that will do *more* for extra money. That scares the hell out of me! And I just worry that his GM's will get him so trashed he wont even know what he is doing. I will be living on Xanax that weekend that is for sure!

Is anyone else upset/nervous about your FH having one? I'm trying to push for a co-ed one so I'm not as upset. I had a bad experience with my ex (he cheated on me god knows how many times, mostly with strippers) and even though my FH is nothing like him, the idea of the strip club and VEGAS makes me really angry. His friends are constantly making fun of me because of my aniexty. The only one who is nice about it is the BM who is dating my MOH. Am I acting ridiculous or do I have every right to be upset?

I am so sorry that an ex had done that to you, and that its effects have carried over into the new life you are starting with your FH. I think you have the right to be upset, but the ability to handle the situation at the same time. I think that the two of you should come to an agreement on the plans and then trust him 100%. Don't second guess yourself, him or the situation. It will be fine because you are the one he loves and is marrying.

that is the reason i want FH to come home the night off......i trust him 100% but the thought of him being wasted with his wasted friends anywhere for longer than 1 night - in and out of regular clubs and bars makes me nervous. i know how he gets when he is really drunk and has no idea what the hell he is doing .....in his hay day he has been taken advantage of by really hideous creatures when he was drunk, we weren't together at the time but i've seen the kind of girls he would dance and make out with in clubs then the booze would wear off and he'd be like *** - and yeah of course his friends would think this was hysterical.....while he was drunk they were convincing him that she was the prettiest girl in the club, and they would give her his #, and then he would have these stalkers oh yeah, and all of this was while he had a girlfriend! my FH was bad back in the day! he hooked upwith some trainwrecks

I would be upset. We're 'older' I guess by wedding standards-49 and 43, and FH and I don't want Bachelor/ette parties, and made it clear to respective friends.
Let your FH know that it's not something you are comfortable with, and in this day and age, to me, it's one of those things that are at best, optional. Why not opt for a co-ed dinner or something similar?
I have never liked those things, and to me, the thought of one is not pleasant.

All the best,

I know that FH wouldn't do anything inappropriate. At the most he would enjoy a lap dance. Do I like it? Of course not. Does it really bother me? Not so much. I don't like the idea of him going to a strip club on an ordinary night, but for his BP I'd be okay with it. I'm sure he'll end up at strip club.

You really just have to trust that he wouldn't cross that line. IMO, I think that he deserves a night with all of his friends to celebrate before we get married. Just like I think that all of us ladies deserve an amazing bachelorette party!

I know he got pretty good lap dances and witnessed pretty much PORN live. But I wanted him to be able to do this. I trust him and I know for a fact he would not cheat on me with some dirty stripper. Ive been with him 7 years and have never had any doubts in his fidelity. If I did, I wouldnt be with him. He had a wonderful time at his bachelor party and I didnt worry the least but about it.

I have not been happy about this trip because we are scraping pennies together to finance this wedding, and a trip to Vegas seems like the worse idea ever. I'm worried that he'll be drunk and gamble away a lot of money. He is bringing an agreed amount of money, but that doesn't make me feel like that's the end of it. If he blows a lot of money over there I will be livid, and that's not what I want right before our wedding. That is what is going to be keeping me up at night next week.
