He is going to vegas and I gave him a few rules:

1. Don't get arrested.
2. Don't gamble all of our money away.
3. Don't have sex with another woman.
4. Don't have sex with another man.

:) :)

I trust him completely and he deserves to have fun with his friends!

My thing is if you don't trust your future husband at a strip club, you should probably think twice about marrying him.

While some girls may not trust their FH in a strip club, I just am uncomfortable with what goes on in them. I consider lap dances cheating, and I hold myself to the same standard. Its silly to assume every girl who doesn't like strip clubs has trust issues. They have more of a chance of picking up a girl at a bar!

I totally agree. If you cant trust him during one night out, how are you going to trust him your whole life??
And LOL on the 4 rules!!

Re: Bachelor Party

Jill52787 I totally agree with you!!! I trust my fiance. He has done nothing for me to not trust him. He doesn't go out partying, dancing, or strip joints. I guess I don't like what strip joints stand for. He is my best friend he will probably end up telling everything that happened and call me when he gets drunk. I just need to vent and to know that I am not alone. I will let it go and he will do whatever he wants and I will have my bacholerette party that night and play what I don't know won't hurt me.

I just don't want to know what goes on! Don't tell me - I trust him not to do something stupid, so don't tell me the details.

BTW - I am going to Miami for mine and I plan to party with Enrique and Pitbull...hahaha j/k

My DH had one - it was in AC and there were strippers - I trust him completely so I wasn't upset about it.

FH went to his brothers brothers bachelor party and went to a strip club. Well let's just his patns smelt lol. I almost puked washing them. I trust him completely. But I just don't want to know about it. I'm getting over the whole stripper thing. He's marrying me and gave me the ring. He can have a great bachelor party and a great nite. He's harmless and too nice. He won't hurt me. Do I think about a. Girl on his lap. Of course. But the weekend he does his I will be out and not worrying about it. But u girls helped. Reading this I don't care about them anymore. :) thank you!!! There just looking for dollars.

As far as If I want one. YES!!! And NO!!! I don't know yet depends on what we do for my Bachlorette party. I used to go to escapes all the time and knew all the strippers by first name. And we went bc we knew the guys. My Friend dated one. And he was the nicest guy ever. So my days of going to a strip club are over. I just don't know how anyone else would react if I say I want one lol. So well see.

My DH decided he wanted to be low key....his best friend planned a fishing trip, they came back to our house and BBQ'd/cooked what they caught, made a fire in the backyard, drank and watched movies. The following morning they played a round of golf at a local course.

Just be honest with him...but remember, don't be hypocritical.

He doesn't want to have a bachelor party now. I overreacted when I saw that message he sent his friend. Clearly he isn't hiding anything because he gave me his password to go under it. I think I misunderstood what he said. I want him to have fun with his guy friends. I also am getting my friend so I might be a bit on the edge!

Re: Bachelor Party

I think at the end of the day, my FH wants to marry me and I want to marry him. What could possibly change in one night that would cause him to do something stupid to jeopardize that? Nothing.

His groomsmen are my close friends, as well. I know they respect me and are supportive of our relationship and wouldn't promote anything totally reprehensible - and I know my FH would NEVER indulge. Our priorities are with one another.

If there are going to be strippers, there are going to be strippers. I'm not going to lay down 'rules,' because I think they pretty much go without saying. If you have to remind your FH not to have sex with anyone - well, that's kind of scary, isn't it?

I just think if someone's going to do something wrong, it'll happen at some point, even if it doesn't happen at the Bachelor Party. If they're the type of person who has respect and knows how to have a good time without doing something that can cause irreparable damage, they're not going to make the wrong decision, especially in this one night of having fun.

I understand the insecurities, but if you really think about it, is it just the Bachelor Party?

I trust my fh. I wouldn't be with him if I wasn't. I have no rules. My friend did that and she was trying to make me do it but I found it controlling. I actually trust his best man and some of his friends. I don't trust his family! Go figure!

We aren't having a bachelor or a bachelorette party. We discussed this and agreed its not something either of us wanted to do.

However, if we decided to have one. I definately would not want there to be strippers. There is no need for either him or I to be grouped, touched or danced on by anyone.

But I do believe whether you two fight about his bachelor party. I still feel that you need to express your concerns but also allow him to express his. Listen to one another. As someone else suggested, maybe its easier for you to plan your bachelorette party when he has his to help with the thoughts of what he might be doing and live it up with your party. Remember, you two are here to share in a lifetime commitment.

I agree! FH and I are not labeling it a bachelor/bachelorette party. We are just doing a together get together with friends and family. The way I think of it is.. you should of done that stuff before you got engaged. I've heard some horrible stories of what goes on at bachelor parties. It not worth the arguments and aggravation.
