Re: bachelor party question
Normally you shouldn't invite anyone to any wedding related stuff, such as e-party, shower, bachelor party if they are not invited to the wedding

I agree cause it will cause conflict and it won't be fair to them also...

Re: bachelor party question
Definitely not, unless they are friends of your friends who want to tag along... However, that's really not appropriate for a BP. It should be your close friends -- i.e., ones who are coming to your wedding. Other than that, the only possible exception I could see would be where you are having family only to the wedding (VERY tiny wedding), but your friends still want to do something special for you...
But generally, no, it's not at all appropriate to invite people to things like showers and BPs when they aren't invited to the wedding.

No I think it could be taken as being very rude. Just people who are invited to the wedding should be invited to wedding-related parties.

I agree with this to a certain extent. While I wouldn't invite a non-wedding guest to a more extravagant BP that is overnight somewhere - there might be someone maybe at work that I might say - hey, we're going out for my bachelorette party tonight - would love for you to come hang out if you don't have plans. Obviously this would be someone that already knows and is comfortable with the fact that I haven't invited them to the wedding.

Re: bachelor party question
I say no but my FH doesn't find a problem with this. he has attended a BP even though he knew he wasn't invited to the wedding and he aslo attended a BP even though we would not be going to the wedding because of the bride (we do not get along with her but we like the groom)

Re: bachelor party question
I agree - this is alot simpler for men. Women have more hang-ups about things like this. (sorry for the stereotype ladies).

Re: bachelor party question
I think if the guest doesn't care and the bachelor/bachelorette doesn't care it's not the worst thing in the world...IMO its more of a personal thing based on the situation
I would never have wanted it at mine because to me it was all about me spending time w/ my best friends but DH had some non-wedding guests at his because they looked at it as an excuse for a giant guys night out so a few people from the extended group of friends came along and he had a great time...
And I've been to a bachelorette party where most of the Bridal party was from out of town so the MOH invited her two sisters who we've all known since college but who never would have expected to be invited to the wedding and it turned out to be a good chance to have them celebrate w/ the bride and add a few more fun people to the group...

Re: bachelor party question
A friend of mine asked me if she could bring another friend to my BP, which I thought was kind of weird but I really did not care. Well I should say until I saw her. She was dressed SO unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!! She wore boyshort undies with fishnet (the big holes) stockings underneath and 3 inch black pumps with a red button down shirt that she unbuttoned down to the last 3 holes and had her black lace bra showing as if it were an undershirt. It was the beginning of November and it was not very warm out. She looked like an idiot and everyone was looking at us. It was so embarrassing!!!! We went to dinner at Don Juan's first and I was mortified as we walked past the families with kids eating as we walked to our table. It was just horrible. Once we got to the club we all ditched both of them until it was time to leave. As long as this girl is not the one that someone wants to bring to your party, then I would say it is ok. I would not invite someone who is not invited to the wedding, but if a friend wants to ask another friend to go with them, then I say go for it.

Re: bachelor party question
I wouldn't do it either. I'm having a problem w/ this too b/c FSIL wants to invite her friend to my shower and she is NOT invited to the wedding. I feel bad for my MOH and mom b/c they need to tell her.
