go to hunkamania and sob sounds of brazil has a dinner and brazilian 7 pc band the dance floor is wild!

Broadway show is a good one or central park. There also may be some fun (and free) events going on such as a concert or other activity. Vanity Fair publishes a whole NYC summer guide booklet. Also lists good restaurants and bars w/outdoor seating. if you're interested, FM me with your email address and I can send it to you.
