Is it OK to invite some girls to my Bachelorette party that I am not inviting to the wedding? I kind of feel bad but can't invite everyone and I really want to have them at the party. What do you think?

Re: Bachelorette Party
Just my opinion, but only people who are invited to the wedding should be invited to the pre-wedding activities. It's kinda rude otherwise

I think you are right, I guess I am going to have to start inviting more people to the wedding. Not really such a bad thing!

Re: Bachelorette Party
I agree...I wouldnt invite girls to my bachelorette party that wouldnt be at my wedding because if they are close enough to come to the b-party, then they should be close enough to be invited to the wedding.

Re: Bachelorette Party
I was wondering the same thing. A few of my married friends explained to me that it was ok to invite only certain people that you maybe friendly with but just can't afford to invite to your wedding. I know that in my life there are, work friends, party friends, beauty parlor friends, and they don't all neccesarily have to be invited to the wedding, you can't invite the whole world, I know I can't. I decided to give my MOH a list of key friends and family who have been around me during all this wedding planning that could add people (friends of friends)who are not invited to the wedding and I have nothing to do with it because I am not doing the inviting. From my understanding I'm having 2 parties, a classy and tasteful shower for FAMILY and friends... and a raunchy bachelorette party for the girls who like to have fun. I can't wait!

Re: Bachelorette Party
I was invited to a b-party once and not to the wedding. She was having a small wedding with mostly family, but wanted a night out on the town with the girls beforehand. I wasn't insulted in the least. I was happy to go out and party! I was happy for my friend and didn't mind all the wedding talk.

Re: Bachelorette Party
My best friends twin sister did that. She invited friends of ours who were acquaintances of her sister to her bach. party. They were ok with it until she flipped out on everyone because everyone was tired and ready to leave. Needless to say my other friends who weren't invited were pretty pissed after that.
Also long as everyone is on their best behavior then it should be a fun night.
