Here is my dilemma...I have no idea what to do for my bachelorette party or where to have it. I live in Maryland, but my wedding is on LI. 3 of BM live on LI, 2 live upstate NY and one lives in Boston. So, we are all over. My FH's family is hosting a shower for me here, and I'm so grateful for that. That shower will be in June. My NY shower will probably be in August. I just don't know when to schedule my bachelorette party! I hate having to ask people to travel, especially when they will have to for the wedding. I'm sorry for the rather long rant, but I just really could use some options or suggestions. This is starting to stress me out!

Maybe do it the same weekend as your NY shower even though it's a lot ot cram into 1 weekend. You could always do a night in NYC, Atlantic City, Fire Island, Montauk...You can def do FI and NYC on a budget - so many great places!!

What about having it the day before the wedding (if you are getting married on a Sunday)? It doesn't have to be anything crazy, and most people will be there already for the wedding. You can go out east on a wine tasting tour or go into the city for dinner and a show?

Could you maybe do two separate ones? Maybe the weekend of your LI shower, do something? Then do the Maryland one closer to the wedding?

Well I would say if you are having a sunday wedding you could just do a spa day and a nice dinner. Nice and relaxing before a day of running around!!

So funny. I live on long island have 2 bm in maryland, one in chicago, and 2 on long island. The truth is the ones that want to go will travel no matter where you have it. You could make it in a neutral place where everyone has to travel or have it where the majority of the people are. Two things Southwest airlines is ALWAYS running deals between $49-$69 one way flights to and from long island, boston, and maryland. Also look into the mega bus. For $20 you can get a round trip from maryland (white marsh, baltimore, anne arundel...etc)to Penn station in the city. They might have similar deals to Boston, possibly upstate, so that will cut costs. I would do it right after the August shower, and make it in NYC, tons of spas, nightclubs, hotels, etc. Don't stress it'll work out
