bachelorette party
Hey Brides-to-Be!Just wondering have you guys given any ideas to your bridesmaid on what kind of bachelorette party you want?
I cant decide between a spa day or a going to see a burlesque show and then going for dinner and drinks after.

I told my Maid of honor (whose also my sister in law) I want a short fun weekend away in cape cod (since im getting married in the summer) I wanna just rent a house on the beach and have endless drinks and laughs. Keep it cheap keep it simple and make memories that last! Both of your ideas are great just different. If you want a spa day though - my friend whose getting married in april and I am in the wedding party were going to East End Wind & spa and staying a night - it includes 3 wineries lunch, dinner at the hotel and a spa voucher for the morning after. We are so excited we leave Sat the 28th !

I told my MOH and bridesmaids, I just want to dance! I don't care what we do as long as we have lots of laughs and fun. Its been so busy that I just want to keep it simple, nothing crazy. I love to go out and dance. I rarely have the opportunity to since I had my son...so as long as we're all having a blast it doesn't matter to me. Just want to build more memories for them. We're all Queens residents so my guess is will end up in the city somewhere.

Actually there are some great websites that do house rentals for weekends and stuff - sometimes a lot cheaper than you would think. I am not 100% on Cape Cod it can even be in the woods in Vermont just relaxing, drinks with fun games and stupid shenanigans...!If you just want a fun night out you should go 80's prom night at Webster Hall. I think they still do it - it's a blast. You dress up from the 80's drink and dance your hearts out. That's another option and do dinner before the 80's prom!
KellyNicole you have FM!

I just want to go for dinner and drinks, nothing fancy or expensive. I don't want people to have to give up a weekend or a vacation day at work, and spend a lot of money. I never liked doing that myself!

Ideally i would love to go away for the weekend to Jamaica haha. But most likely it will be a spa day and a really nice dinner.

So jealous of that - Cape Cod is my happy place :) FH and I already decided that is where we will retire to!
My girls planned a wine tour and then some sort of 'after party' that night. We live on the beach so we will probably go to the beach the following day.

All I want is to be in the sun with a margarita in my hand and my toes in the sand. My girls have been so good to me they booked a 4 day weekend to Miami April 30th. At first I felt guilty about them spending so much but after seeing all of them this weekend and seeing their excitement. It made me feel better and I can't wait!

I went to a cabaret show in NYC for my 25th birthday at Le Scandal. It was a good time, kinda pricey for drinks/dinner, but really worth it. I believe they also offer the option to do like a burlesque workshop before the show, I didn't do it at the time because it was a co-ed party lol. The guest of honor also gets a goodie bag and gets brought on stage for extra attention.I told my MOH I was thinking of doing a paint nite event, a nice dinner, then some sort of fun club. But a spa day sounds awesome too! I kinda wanted to be able to do something that my mom and future MIL could attend for at least part of the day but still be able to get alittle crazy at night lol.

We're going to the wineries. A lot of my friends have kids so this is easy, simple and not all that far.

My MOH did mine on the cheap and it worked out really well! She rented an apt from airbnb in chelsea. We took a pole dancing class and then went to some fancy rooftop bar, and ended the night with dollar slices of pizza!
