It might be personal and you don't have to answer but I was curious how much people are paying to go out for your bachelorette party...I am trying very hard to be concious about not doing too much but it seems that no matter what it gets out of hand. lol I was hoping that if other girls are in the same boat I will feel better. Friday night the girls are coming over and we are having wine and ordering in like pizza...so that's very inexpensvie...Saturday we are taking a pole dancing class, and then in the evening taking a limo to the city having dinner, going to a bar and then going to a club...a party planning company is doing it so for everyhting including the day stuff...all alcohol, food, tips, transportation and a personal male model usher to take picturs and lead a through the night is about $350 pp for 14 of us....what are your thoughts? I went away for a friends bachelorette party and with everything it was much more then that...but i was just curious....

Re: Bachelorette party cost
$300 for their flight, some got it for a lil under $200 and one girl got airfare for free bc she had a jetblue voucher. I am paying for the suite. The rest is spending money so thats whatever they want to spend. One place we'll probably get a hook up so probably wont have to spend much. Then have to figure the other 2 nights.

Re: Bachelorette party cost
we went to ac. it was $150 each for the limo there and back. $70 each for the hotel rooms (2 rooms). and $100 for dinner and drinks before we went out. We got comped at the club, and who knows how much was spent on drinks My 1 bridesmaid also bought me a bride tank & hat, and all the other girls bridesmaid tanks. We had 8 people including me go.

Re: Bachelorette party cost
okay, I'm spending a lot more and having two, so don't feel bad. Hotel and airfare for me is like $800, and that's just hotel and airfare.
BUT it really depends on your situation - me and all my friends have good jobs, make decent $$ and can afford it. I am a vacation wh*re and just wanted to go someplace warm so i'm using my bach party as an excuse - a chill weekend with the girls! Can't wait.

I don't think mine will be too crazy... we're going out to dinner at Four then taking a limo into the city (one of the girls has a limo connection) then going to the Awesome 80s Prom which is $50 per ticket. So depending on how many drinks each girl wants to buy, I'd say nobody is spending more than $200.

Re: Bachelorette party cost
and i guess it wasn't a problem either bc i am more than content with vegas, but my MOH called me about a week ago and said that the weekend my fh goes away she is treating me and another bm(she is also the moh for her) to a day at the spa on her, and then we'll all go out for dinner and drinks. So that shocked me and was sweet.

Re: Bachelorette party cost
i am trying to keep costs down as much as possible cause some of my bridesmaids cant afford too much. We are going to mohegan for one night. Hotel is about $75 each and then dinner (maybe another $75) and then whatever they choose to spend on gambling, spa, drinks, etc. So probably around $200 or so each. I think you can have a really good time for not alot of money.

I don't think my bachelorette is planned yet, but I really don't want them to spend too much money. I know for a friends last year I probably spent $150-200 and that included train to NYC, dinner, awesome 80's prom, drinks afterwards and a hotel. So that's not too bad!

Re: Bachelorette party cost
There is no way I can afford to pay all the girls...I am getting a good deal for a party bus from the limo company that i am getting it from, so I will be purchasing it that. We will probably be doing the night out thingy, dinner/club and we will split the bill

That's good. I think if you sub the limo for train that helps a lot. ..

Honestly, that is part of the reason I did not go with that company. It just got too expensive and it didn't give any of my girls options, like if one wanted to do dinner but not the bars, or one had to meet us there and couldn't take the limo. I decided to just rent a limo for the night which is only like $70 pp and stay on the island. We will probably do dinner and then either Nautical Mile or something like that. The limo will drop us back at the hotel and whoever wants to stay can stay.

Re: Bachelorette party cost
See i wanted everyone to be on it all. My friends in the city who aren't taking the limo are not paying for that part. They are meeting and not doing the deal. The reason i liked the company was because it's all taken care of. I wanted everyone to have a worry free night....no one has to spend a dime that night or worry about if they want another drink, or what to eat. I am the first person to be cheap trust me...but I guess it's teh same way to view all inclusive vacations...I love them i'd rather pay more upfront then have to worry about it along the way. I guess that's me though. I'm very happy with the response. I have all my BM's coming along with my mom and some other friends...hopefully they don't think I am nuts. I didn't plan it though so if they do think i'm nuts they can blame my sister!

$75pp? if i drink 75 worth of drinks ill be passed out hahahaha. Maybe it wouldve been better just getting your own, well depends how much they drink. BUt i normally dont spend $75 on drinks JUST for myself, if i get drinks for others yeah but just me that is alot, but 3-5 is my limit
and yeah i know how much drinks are, ive been to marquee and usually just go out to the city. But even with $10 a drink, i would have 5 the most and thats $50 usually i have 3 drinks though.
