bachelorette party ideas... - Long Island Weddings

we're going to the MGM grand at foxwoods for a night. driving up early on a saturday and hanging out/shopping in Mystic CT and getting lunch by the seaport, then going to Foxwoods and having dinner catered into the penthouse room then going to Shrine nightclub.. and gamling :)

my sister did this for her friends bachelorette and said it was the best time... i just wanna gamble so i'll be happy lol

I love Mystic, gambling, and everything about this idea! My MOH and I were tossing Vegas around today for a three day weekend, but we've already changed the plans about three times. I've never been, and I think if I don't do it now, I never will. We love to gamble, in addition to all the other things you can do and figure we can get comps from going to Atlantic City all the time.

I'm going to Disney for Epcot's Food and Wine Festival! I'm obsessed with Disney so this was a must do for me! I can't wait to wear my Mickey ears with the veil!!

We will prob rent a house in the hamptons and have an old school girls pajama party - with lots if wine!!

I like the idea of having someone come to the house to give us all a cooking class, but depends how much that costs.

Then maybe some spa stuff at gurneys, shopping, dinner, etc.

I'd like to be able to wear sweats for the majority of the time

Not sure what I want to do yet, but so far, to date, my FAVORITE bachelorette party that I ever attended was a scavenger hunt in nyc. www.cityhunt.org was the company we used and we had a BLAST! HTH!

FH has an idea to do a afternoon dual party girls vs guys air soft paintball.. Then at night we separate guys go their way and then the girls will do dinner dancing drinking and probably a hotel room crashing! LOL

We initially were thinking of AC. (Vegas was an option for about an hour, but I want all of my friends to come, and decided that staying within driving distance would be better.. plus I've been to Vegas and it really wasn't anything special and it's crazy overpriced) But since I'm getting married in May and the bachelorette would be march or early april, we decided on Foxwoods because it'll still be kinda cold.. If my bachelorette was in the summer months we would've done AC for the beaches and the boardwalk.. Foxwoods is a shorter drive though and everything is indoors so we can wear dresses and not have to worry about being freezing lol

LOVE the food & wine festival! FH & I went to disney last year for it! (and I wore the bride ears because we went the day after we got engaged!) I'm still dreaming about the baby lamb chops! ha!

I honestly don't know what we will be doing. I am leaving it up to my sister & FSIL. I kind of want it to be a surprise. I'd love to do an over night because I love the idea of a sleepover with my girls but I know weddings cost so much to be in so i'd be happy with a night out in the city.

I have a few ideas up in the air..my FH is doing Vegas with his boys & some co-workers..I was thinking either Vegas, Mexico or if i have to do something local it will be an AC trip at the Borgata with a nice dinner at Old homestead & partying all night at the clubs there
