My sister and I are planning my Bachelorette party we want to go to a few clubs (dance clubs). Does anyone have any ideas of any clubs that would be fun to go to? There are going to be a bunch of us going. My Bachelorette party is on Friday Dec 19th. We are looking at clubs on Long Island. We are not to sure about dance clubs in the city. We rented a party bus for the night. Please help my sister and I out with any ideas of what dance clubs on Long Island would be good to go to. Any help would be very helpful to us. Thank you ladies. Happy planning

I would suggest either Biancos in smithtown or the old mirage- now called Glo in westbury. I think those are 2 of the more dressy clubs i know of on long island.

what type of crowd are you looking for?? Origin,Biancos ,Crazy donkey and The Nutty Irishman will most likely have a younger guido type crowd
56 Fighter in Farmongdale will have a 25-35 crowd
Lily's in Babylon is good they have a band and then a dj tehy also have a mixed crowd

What are the age requirements on these clubs? I have one girl that is going who isn't 21 yet and she will not be 21 until Feb. Does any of these clubs have bachelorette party packages?

all those places are 21, unless some place is more lenient and you can get away with it.
Even in the city its the same thing, the only place I can think of at the moment that is under 21 is webster hall oh and avalon

The Inn in Long Beach is a great place. Not sure if they'll let someone in that is under 21 though.

webster hall actually has a good drink package and would be good for a party night!

is it a young crowd there now? Years ago it was different but I know my younger cousins go with all their friends well they did when they were under 21, they just turned 21. So I wonder if most of the crowd will be 18-20 years old, unless thats not a problem

Someone told me that if I call ahead of time to let them know that there is one girl in the group that is not 21 yet but she is 20 that they may let her in any way but she will not be able to drink. Do you think this is true? I would rather go to a club that is 21 and over. I know we will be going to a few clubs that night.

i honestly doubt it... theres no way to prevent the girl from drinking (without tattooing it on her forehead) and if its a good club, they wouldnt want to risk the chance of losing their liquor license
why dont you do 2 separate outtings? A local bar that wouldnt give her a problem and then a reg 21 place? I mean she could always risk it by using a fake ID (i know i did, but it didnt work every time)

when i was under 21 i used somebodies real ID, alot of my friends did and it worked lol. Also my cousin used my ID many times when she was under 21. Luckily I had an extra one and gave that to her.

You could always take the bus down to nautical mile and just hop around there. some of the places are bar/restaurants so the under 21 girl might not have a hard time getting in.

Re: Bachelorette party ideas...please help
My clubbing days are sadly over but my girlfriends and I go to the Port Jazz in Port Jeff if we're in the mood to go out dancing -- it's an older crowd, have live music like Big Shot and That 70's Band. You can go out out to a nice dinner beforehand or do wine and tapas at Toast. If you have someone going that is under 21 I'd recommend something else -- they scan ID's at the Port Jazz.
Other similar places are Mulcahy's, The Nutty Irishman...
