Bachelorette Party in the Hamptons
Hi Ladies -I am in the midst of planning a bachelorette party for my bf's in June. She wants to go to the Hamptons for the weekend. Can anyone suggest a nice place to stay out there. I was thinking Friday night we could just hang out and Saturday day we could hit the beach and then we could go to a nice dinner and out to party after.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Many thanks,
Suz

Alot of people like to go to neptunes during the day...they prefer that over alot of clubs you would go to at night on a weekend...

WE stayed at Cabana when we did a girls weekend. Its a really nice place that was reasonably prices. They have cabanas outside around the pool with sand around them, they are actually beds. Then at night the bar is really hip and a great crowd with a dj. We stayed overnight and then went to the beach in the morning. I dont believe it is right next to the beach though, but it wasnt a long drive at all. We also went to Tavern which was a lot bigger but more of a club than a loungy bar like Cabana.

Re: Bachelorette Party in the Hamptons
i would recommend Montauk... because there are more motels on the beach, town is within walking distance of most of them and there are really good restaurants out in that way (including East Hampton which is a short train ride or 25 drive).I've seen many bachelorette parties (almost every weekend) out at the bars during the summer months.

The Beach Bar has a fun thing for bachelorette parties ( scavenger hunt) and I think Turtle Bay does as well.they are both pretty fun - not sure what kind of crowd you want. Neptunes is a day thing - very clubby though - be ready for big muscle and little suits :)

Yes, I have been to both for a BP and had an awsome time. It all depends on your company. We stayed at...I can't remember for the life of me!! I'll call my sister tomorrow and let you know. It was a two bedroom with pull out couch efficiency room, not too far from the beach. We stayed there twice and actually thinking about going back this summer for my girlfriend's BP. I can't believe the name is escaping me now

Re: Bachelorette Party in the Hamptons
Wellllllllll, I suggest for the day going to a bar on Dune Road (you can go to the beaches out there, and then head over to this place) called John Scotts. It's a great little tiki bar on dune road that is on the water and usually has an acoustic guitar player playing during the day/late afternoon. It's a gem.To stay? I've always wanted to stay in the 'Cozy Cabins' on Montauk highway in East Hamtpon. It's right down the road from Star Room...so if you want to go out at night and not have to drive, you could stay there and walk to Star Room! I also recommend Pink Elephant (used to be Cabana) in Southampton.
ETA: Actually, the hotel might be called 'Wainscott Inn' I'd call and see. Both though, are the cottage-y feel!

I have stayed at Shinnecock Mist a couple of times. They have efficiency rooms with two bedrooms and pull out couch. And it's right by the Margaritaville restaurant.

Dune Deck in Westhampton Beach is a good place to stay or Bath and Tennis Hotel.Cheaper is Alan's (or Allen's) Acres in Hampton Bays.
