Each town really has it's own vibe. Are you guys looking over the summer?

If you just want a fun crazy time....Hampton Bays...The Drift Inn (not very nice, but a HUGE fun beach bar)

Pink Elephant was super popular last summer
(swanky)

Steven's Talkhouse (chill)

It really depends on your vibe! Keep in mind taxis are EXPENSIVE. People are going to drop at least $20 just on those if you go out. So for a big group- a limo might be the play! Even if you are trying to not spend to much.

Hampton Bays will definately be the cheapest or Montauk.

Fire Island is also an option. I went there for a Bachelorette Party and it was so fun! My sister said she may want to have hers their so I am going to look into it!

It's for the middle of June.....We like to drink/dance, but i'd also like to be able to bar hop without paying tons of covers.

Re: Bachelorette Party-Out East

I've gone out for the past two summer to the Hamptons. Once did a house in the Hampton Bays & the other in Southampton. It is pretty much impossible to 'bar hop' unless you have a limo for the night. We always would just go to one bar for the night.

Everywhere is going to have lines. I think The Drift is $10 or $20, most places are $20+. The Drift is HUGE and a lot of fun, but definately a 'sh*t show'. However I ALWAYS have fun. Pink Elephant & Stereo are fun, but expensive & a pain with the lines. You have to make some type of reservation. However on a busy night, a reservation can get you no where. Honestly, I've been there when the didn't let a girl in because she had some extra weight or wasn't attractive enough. I'm not kidding and it was a friend of someone who promoted there.

I think the fire island idea was a great one! Much more relaxing and you can walk everywhere. You don't have to worry about cabs. I also went to school in Boston and we use to go to Newport, RI which is A LOT of fun.

We went out east to Montauk for my friend's last year. We rented a house for the weekend, went to Gosman's for dinner (and Harvest at Fort Pond for lunch the next day) and went to a few bars (can't remember the names). It was great! The house was only a few minutes from everything and within walking distance to the beach. We found it on cyberrentals.com. A lot of their rentals are for a week or more but there are a few that will rent for weekends. Check it out.

Ditto on Montauk! Gurney's is a great spa too!

Montauk is really fun...cabs are easy to find and everything in town is within walking distance from most of the hotels. We go there every summer and have an awesome time! Plus if the weather is bad you can drive back into the Hamptons and go shopping during the day.
