i think it's a definitely no-no. They shouldn't be there if they aren't on the guest list, UNLESS they say they want to come, so only if it's their choice

i agree if someone says oh can i come or soemthing that would be fine i just feel that if you think they are close enough friends of yours that you wanna celerate your 'last' night single with them that they should be important enough to be invited to the other stuff too. I had a few people i am not too close too ask what i was doing for my bach party knowing they arent invited to the wedding and when i tell them they are like ooooh thats cool do you have room for 1 more!? lol

I think it is tacky. I have been invited to bachelorette parties where I havent been invited to the wedding, and my thought was, I'm not close enough to you for you to invite me to your wedding, but I am close enough to you to spend $100+ on you for a bachelorette party? I politely declined.

I wouldn't do that nor would want that done to me.

I think its tacky too. I wouldn't invite someone who was not invited to the wedding. However, I have gone to a few as a friend of someone going. For example a friend of mine was MOH for her sister and her sister is much younger. She didn't really know any of her sister's friends well, so she asked her sister if it would be ok if she asked a couple of her friends to come along. Her sister was fine with it and since we thought it would be a good time we went. We had a blast. However, we were not friends of the bride. I knew her somewhat, from get togethers at my friend's house, but we weren't in her circle of friends. In this case it seemed to work out ok.

I personally would be offended if I was invited to a bachlorette party and didn't get an invite to the wedding.

I totally agree with you on that point! I wouldn never as the BRIDE invite people to my bach party who I wasn't inviting to the wedding. That is just insulting to those people.

I think it's very wrong to invite someone to the bach party who is not invited to the wedding. I think it is offensive and hurtful.

i would really like to hear some of the resonings behind the NOs....... just for my own curiosity....everyone that posted said yes....

I would definitely NOT do that, why should someone be celebrating my wedding with me when they're not even invited to celebrate with me at my actual wedding?? The only way I guess I would possibly do this is if I was having a really small, intimate wedding with just immediate family...
