Bachlorette night help

My MOH and I are trying to figure out where to go or do for my bachlorette night. I am 30 and the youngest in the group so I don't want to go to some young club and I am notinto the whole chipendale thing. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I was thinking the donkey show but I didn't really understand what it was from the website. Is it a club, a play or what? Is it worth it to do the vip table? Did a search on here and it wasn't very helpful. Thanks

I would definitely suggest Naked Boys Singing in the village! It's great!! Really funny..

We are going to Atlantic City for mine. and last weekend we went to a Bacholerteet party and we went to Lucky Cheng's, I don't recommend it, it wasn't that fun.

We went to a tapas restaurant in the city and then some bars.

We were supposed to go canoeing the next day but that didn't happen.

What about wineries?

I don't know what the Donkey Show is all about, but there's something called 'Bertie's Bachelorette Party' and it's like 'Tony and Tina's Wedding' where it's and interactive kind of dinner theater.
As a fellow 30-year old, the strip club is a thing of the past. I'm thinking about going to a comedy club.

I hear ya. I'm 31 & I've been there done that too. Still deciding on my own b-party but we went to the Donkey Show for a friend's b-party & we had a great time. Basically, it is Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream set in the 70's to all 70's music. It is a club and you basically stand around on the dance floor while they perform all around you, it's a little bit interactive, the characters will come up to you & stuff. I thought it was very different, a good alternative to a Chippendale's kind of B-party. I see a lot of girls on theknot saying they hated it and not to insult anyone's intelligence but if you know Shakespeare & you appreciate his writing, it's a great show. Maybe if someone wasn't very familiar with it, they wouldn't like it.

I wouldn't do any VIP table if it costs money. It was more fun to be out on the floor with the actors. After the show it turns into a club, we stayed there for a bit then moved on. I recommend it! Now, I just have to figure out what to do for my own! GL!

I just had my bachelorette party and we went to Birdys Bachelorette Party at Culture Club. I am also a member of the 30 something club and I had such a great time. Checkout the website Birdys bachelorette party .

What about a weekend at a spa or a nice dinner & play if you don't want to go to a club. I've been to the Donkey Show and I liked it.

For my friends bachelorette we took her to Foxwoods. they have some really nice restaurants and there is a dance club and a comedy club if you want to do that. Plus there is that little casino we all had a great time!

Thank you Girls! We are checking out Birdie's Bacholerette Party and the Naked men one too! They both looked like fun! I saw that Birdie's has 'Games' can anyone tell me how bad they are? My BP is all family and I am not sure how much I want to hear about there sex life. And if anyone can recommend a place to eat in the city? a good hibatchi place?

Me and 2 other BM wanted to go away but I don't think the others could leave there kids.

I just turned 29 and was not all that interested in a strip club either. My BM's surprised me and took me to Cafe Wah? in the Village. We had a great time! There was a comedian, a really great band and you can order food there too (bar food mostly, but not bad at all). The show itself was only about $15/pp I think, so you just paid for food and/or drinks so its reasonable. There were 2 other bachelorette parties there also.

Yes, the WHOLE place was dancing by the end of the night.
It's on 3rd and McDougal I think.

I agree with Mich1108, the Donkey Show is a play and very interactive. It's what we are doing for my B-party. I will tell you though that we took my FSIL to Naked Boys Singing and nearly p*)^ed our pants. One of the funniest things I have ever seen, but it was really good too. They do a whole Bachelorette thingy if you want. Good Luck and it's nice to see folks who aren't into the whole Escapes thing!!!
