Re: bachlorette party

I think it's one thing to not actually 'plan' your party but it's another thing if you find out they are planning something you don't want to do. I am not actually doing the day to day planning but my sister (MOH) does ask me if i like the ideas. It's about me and what I want not about her...lol...so I would totally put my foot down on this. it's a memorable time for you not her..lol...i can't get over how much she took offense to you not liking what she wanted to do. I would tell both your mom and your sister that you appreciate her planning, but would like her to plan something that you'd be interested in doing!

I'd say to be happy with whatever they plan for you, and there are ways that you could tactfully get around a spa day by saying, 'I am afraid the oils will break me out' or 'I saw a great club that does bachelorette parties.' But if they plan it, you should let them...and then be greatful to have a wonderful night with your girls because they planned something special fory you.

You should definitely get to do what you want to do. I'm having input on the bachelorette party but not planning it.

I'm so sorry. I think your sister's feeling might be a little hurt from the whole incident. She' probably spent a lot of time planning and was hurt to have you not like her idea. I think overall she should have consulted you in regards to what you might like and go from there, your opinion should matter, but that should be all that you are allowed to input into the bachelorette.

Have a talk with your sister and let her know how you feel.

My MOH & I decided together that we will do a ski-weekend. They are planning it, but you have to like what your doing also !

You should definitely have some say in your bachelorette party. If you don't want to do a spa day, then you shouldn't have to.

My sister (MOH) keeps asking me little things here and there about what kind of things I would like to do. My mom also keeps asking me to do a Spa party, and although I'm not totally opposed to the idea, that's not exactly what I had in mind and told my mother so. And so should you! Good luck!

I can't go beyond what other say because I agree with them. While I am not planning my party, I did give some ideas to my MOH & other BM. They definitely should not do something you are opposed to. That is just rude!
