bachorlette party stress -little long

My sister is planing my party and only 2 of my friends are coming
Which is fine i have gone to EVERYTHING for everyone else and now everyone is too busy to come to mine. Fine i am over that,
But my one friend that is coming is planning this big thing at fire island she wants me to get drunk and all. My wedding is 1 week from sat. I have so much to do I a so tierd. I don't want to hurt her feelings but i just want to go out to dinner and maybe to dance for 2 hours or so after that and be home by 1:00 the latest. I have 2 BBQ's to go to on sunday I don't wnat to walk down the aisle with bags under my eyes. with all the hard work in planning for this wedding weekend i want to enjoy all of it. We are all so tierd my mom, sister, grandma (you wouldn't belive the things i have her doing)

Any suggestions on what to do b/c we all know i am not going to make everyone happy.

TIA

You do what makes you happy. Explain your situation to them. If they don't understand - too bad... Drinking doesn't make you have a good time. Although, it is your bachelorette party, so make sure you have a blast. You have a week in between the wedding, don't you? You'll be all better by then.

you have to communicate this to her, and the sooner the better.

this is exactly why I only want to go out for a nice dinner & maybe a comedy club. I don't want to look like (you know what)

I didn't make a big deal out of what I wanted for my bachelorette party to my friends (I mentioned it but it was basically brushed off) and I ended up with a party that really didn't suit me at all. I didn't want to make a big deal or hurt anyones feelings but I wish that I had made it more clear, because I ended up with a party at a strip club and I really didn't want it. The whole bachelorette thing for me was a nightmare, friends fought and complained to me about each other, it ended up to the point that I really wish I hadn't of had one. ....I know where your coming from, my only advice is to make it clear what you want or are comfortable with... good luck!

I would just explain to her: 'that this is NOT what I want to do and this is MY bach. party!!!' Tell her that she can do whatever she wants when it's her turn!! Hold your ground here.

I agree...learn from my mistake (I wish I had held my ground)
