OMG is all i can say!! You girls did warn me!! Okay, so i went in for my 7:00 appt at the Massapequa location. I was a little early. I go to the door and its locked, lol, so i go around to the mob side and they told me to go back and theyd have someone unclock it, thank god its not pooring yet. so i go in and i tell the woman (forget her name but frizzy hair, 60's, and round glasses) that im early and she suggested i leave and go get coffee (w a bit of an attitude) i say 'cant i just wait here?' (there was a couch) she says fine. a girl actually came up to me who heard the conver and said 'shes a snooty thing isnt she' lol. okay, so my turn to go try on stuff. she picks out about 4 or 5 dresses herself and bring them into the room, now i am a kind of take charge person who knows what they want, so i say very nicely 'can i be honest with you, i really dont care for these 'and i explain why. so im thinking we are gonna look at more when she says 'well i guess you are done here' im like what!?!?!?!?!?! i said, cant i take a look and pick some out myself to try and she says 'no that is not our policy' how f-in rude!! so i just said, i wish i would have know because i wouldnt have wasted my time (took me about 45mins to get there and im leaving after 10) so i left. i got outside and started getting me po-ed so i walked around into the mob side and asked to speak to the owner. i have to say she was very nice and apoligized. i said, you know, im gonna buy a dress, im gonna spend alot of money, i want to be treated the right way. she told me she wanted me to try their other location in carle place and she gave me someones name over there and took down mine. I just cant believe i wasted all that time and when i didnt like the 5 dresses the lady brought me she told me to leave. what a stupid policy, you can pick the dresses you want to try?!?!?!?!? VENT DONE! lol

Ouch! I'm sorry that you had to go through that. That is horrible!!!! I had such a wonderful experience at the one in Carle Place. It's really a shame.

I worked with Darnell and she was amazing! I told her I wanted to spend in the $2k and under range and I told her exactly what I wanted and her and I walked around the whole room together and pulled as many dresses as I wanted to try on. She helped me put them on, got me a veil and we showed them to my mom. I had a wonderful experience and I am ordering my dress from her when I am ready. I am sorry you had such a horrible experience!!!

kris10546, were you at the massapequa or carle place location? so weird, the lady i had told me i couldnt go through the dresses myself, she wouldnt even open the doors, sooo random!

so sorry you had a bad experience! i would go to other places and just try on as many dresses as you want! i got my dress from Macy's and they've been super nice and accomodating! You should check them out too....good luck!

AWWWW so sorry you had to go through that, when I went to the BF (5th Ave) first off they took down my credit card info beforehand just incase that I dont show up they will charge me , sec they made me wait 15 min after my appointment , third I was looking at dresses and they told me to hurry up bec we didnt have enough time WTFF??? and second the lady looked at me like I have 5 heads bec I didnt try any of their dresses on and bec I didnt like any of their dresses

im like still in shock, lol. but as i said, when i complained to the owner she was very nice and apoligetic. however, i just dont think i would be able to get past my experience to buy my gown there. not like i saw anything there anyway, lol.

mpas, sorry you had such a bad experience too! looks like they need to re-evaluate their staff, the massapequa location actually looks like a beautiful store.

i spoke to roselynn's mother, she is the one who told me to go to the carle place location that her daughter runs. she told me to ask for Christine if i decide to give them another chance.

Ewwww I would have said too bad I am going to pick out my own dresses. Sorry you have bad taste lol. I stopped in there earlier today I didn't have appt I jsut wanted to look to see if I saw anything I liked. I spoke to a very nice woman who was helpful and suggested I waited till I had the baby to try on dresses and I should have plenty of time. She was younger and this was earlier like prob 12:30 1ish. I hope when I go back I don't get that beastly woman lol.
